Just wanted to make a quick post about this legend, CJ!

CJ got in contact with me a couple of months ago, looking to get back into the gym after some time out and get confident of entering a gym and being able to use it.

He wanted to understand movement and learn exercises that he had never done before, that took him away from machines and cardio equipment, and on to dumbbells and barbells!

Yesterday we rounded off his time training with me and I just wanted to say how awesome our time working together has been.

He made improvements every week with his technique and form, and well as his gym knowledge coming on leaps and bounds!

He manages to get to the gym on his own, and use the equipment with ease and without worrying about what everyone else around him is doing. He got back to a kickboxing class, as well as getting outside and doing a bit of running.. Although why anyone would want to run up Penrhys still baffles me 😂

Its been super fun spending time with him, and training in the gym and I’m looking forward to seeing him in a couple of classes.

Not everyone goal is the same. Some people come to me to lose weight, some decide they want to learn about the gym and be confident with going on their own!

Getting into fitness is gaining knowledge on your own abilities, your body, as well as what you like and dislike. Once you discover the activity that you look forward to doing, exercise becomes fun and you’ll never look back.
