Swell filling in nicely !! 5 to 7 and couple bigger sets .... Wind is cooperating as well and everyone is having a great time !!! Hoping for it clean up as it fills in a bit more and the tides gets right .... Hoping to have some photos from the past couple days !!!

Situation at the Point right now : 5-7 ft. Occasional 8 ft sets.
It doesn't seem to be lining up though. Winds are offshore and the sun is burning hard!

Waves have dropped off but the next swell will be filling in on Thursday hopefully. Friday they are predicting double over head!!! Time to seperate the real surfers and the not so real surfers!!!

Goyo, Rafa, the Angry Mexican, and myself barrels everywhere and it's only getting better!!!! One of the best sessions at the The Point in a long time....only thing missing was you !!!

Waves seem to be 2-4 feet. There is morning sickness. It's also low tide soon so that might explain why there is not much energy in the water. Maybe afternoon session !

The swell is starting to pick up at the the Point !! Salinas Grande has been firing for three days!! Barrels galore !! Pipes is even showing some signs of life. Actually all the breaks have been great the past couple days and should only get better with the fast approaching swell on Thursday !!

The Point looking s bit smaller than yesterday but still some clean lines rolling through. Better off taking the bigger set waves in the head and picking off the smaller in between ones look to be more lined up. Still 4-6 feet and better than it has been in a couple weeks. No more typing and no more coffee time to surf !!

The Point is finally showing some signs of swell today!! 4 to 6 feet and offshore tide isn't quite right at this time so it's time for a Pipes session !!!

I have been informed that the victim of this mornings surfing accident did not make and has died due to the injuries they sustained.

R.I.P you're on Gods waves now

No other information given at this time.

I do not have a large amount of information at this time but it appears that may have been a tragic accident at Miramar Point this morning, if not tragic then very serious. I was informed that an individual, a surfer for one of the camps, was injured while surfing the Point this morning and may have been struck in the head by a surf board or the bottom and was knocked unconscious.
Individuals in the line up and on the beach were able to get to the the victims aid and were able to get the victim out of the water and into an ambulance where medical personnel immediately started CPR and transported the victim to the hospital.

The identity of the victim is not known at the time and will not be released until next of kin is contacted.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the victim and victims family.

Finally winds offshore! But I swell in the water ... Of course get the winds to cooperate but now the ocean won't . Another good day to walk the ullage and say hi to everyone.
