Is a political revolution coming? Will the Labour party collapse? Can the kingdom stay united?

It's 1974. And Westminster is about to go to war with itself. Set in the engine rooms of the House of Commons, James Graham's This House dives deep into the secret world of the Whips who roll up their sleeves and go to often farcical lengths to influence an unruly chorus of MPs within the Mother of all Parliaments.

In an era of chaos, both hilarious and shocking, fist fights break out in the parliamentary bars, high-stake tricks and games are played, while sick or dying MPs are carried through the lobby to register their crucial votes as the government hangs by a thread.

Premiered to universal acclaim at the National Theatre in 2012, This House written by James Graham (The Vote, Privacy) and directed by Headlong Artistic Director Jeremy Herrin (People, Places and Things, Wolf Hall), gives us a timely, moving and often amusing insight into the workings of British politics.

The Dresser at the Duke of York's Theatre

Book: http://thebookingdesk.com/tickets/the-dresser

A major revival of The Dresser by Academy award winning author Sir Ronald Harwood starring Ken Stott and Reece Shearsmith.

Olivier Award winner Ken Stott and BAFTA Award winner Reece Shearsmith come together as lead actor “Sir” and Norman “the dresser” in this eagerly awaited revival of “a wonderfully affectionate and intelligent play about the theatre” The Guardian.

Both hilarious and poignant, The Dresser explores the relationship between two men who are reluctantly and inevitably co-dependent. As World War II rages, backstage in a provincial English theatre, an ageing, once-famous classical actor is troubled. Sir, the last in a dying breed of great English Shakespearean actors, is unwilling to take to the stage to deliver his renowned portrayal of King Lear. It falls to his faithful dresser Norman to rouse another great performance from him, to keep both the show and its star from falling apart.

Renowned as Ronald Harwood’s greatest play, The Dresser has been nominated for Olivier and Tony Awards as well as an Academy Award for the screenplay of the film. With a multi-award winning creative team of Ken Stott (Rebus, God of Carnage), Reece Shearsmith (The League of Gentlemen, Inside Number 9) and Sean Foley (The Ladykillers, Jeeves and Wooster) this promises to be an unmissable production of a theatrical classic.

Michael Crawford leads the cast of the new West End musical The Go-Between, a beautiful and touching adaptation of L.P.Hartley’s classic novel.

This glorious new British musical comes triumphantly into the West End following critical acclaim at West Yorkshire Playhouse. Now starring Michael Crawford in his first leading role in a musical for 20 years (having created the title roles in The Phantom of the Opera, and Barnum).

The Go-Between tells a dramatic and moving coming of age story, explored through vibrant music and passionate song. Leo Colston (played by Michael Crawford), reflects on the hot summer of 1900 spent in Norfolk at the country house of his school friend Marcus, and his unwitting role acting as a go-between for the beautiful upper-class Marian (Gemma Sutton, Gyspy) and tenant-farmer Ted (Stuart Ward, Once). Their secret love affair, carried out against the wishes of the formidable Mrs Maudsley (Issy van Randwyck, Fascinating Aida), has devastating effects on those around them and in particular young Leo who will be changed forever.

Don’t miss this sensationally entertaining new musical adaption of the much loved novel The Go-Between, at the Apollo Theatre for 20 weeks only from 27th May.

Since winning the 2016 Olivier Award for Best New Musical, Kinky Boots is now the winner of every major Best Musical award and is the hottest show in town!

With songs by Grammy® and Tony® winning pop icon Cyndi Lauper, this fabulous musical celebration is about the friendships we discover, and the belief that you can change the world when you change your mind.

Inspired by true events, Kinky Boots takes you from the factory floor to the glamorous catwalks of Milan. Charlie Price, played by David Hunter (Once; One Man, Two Guvnors), is struggling to live up to his father’s expectations and continue the family business of Price & Son. With the shoe factory’s future hanging in the balance, help arrives in the unlikely but spectacular form of Lola, played by Olivier award-winner Matt Henry, a fabulous performer in need of some sturdy new stilettos.

This hilarious musical has high-kicked its way into London’s glittering West End as the ultimate fun night out.
