Little State Tournament was created with the thought of fun in mind. All second place teams from USTA Texas Leagues are invited to play.

The 2019 Men's and Ladies' 40 & Over Little State is done! A huge thank you to all the players that participated -- especially the captains!
Thank you for your patience during the short rain delays --- it did not stop us from finishing on time.
And, an interested note --- Austin won every division, men's and ladies'. Nice job, Austin!! Play on!!

After a long battle the Austin Rumblers were victorious! Congratulations to Lawrence Rountree and his team! They won the Men’s 40 and Over 3.5 Little State! Well done, guys!!

After a very close final the Austin Match Makers clinched the Ladies 40 and Over 4.0 Little State Championship. Congratulations to Jan Pierpoint and her team for a great weekend and good luck competing next weekend!!!

It is Sunday morning of 40 & Over Texas Little State and it is raining at the Corpus Christi Country Club. Currently, 8:00 am matches are delayed until 9:00 am.
HEB courts are dry.

Little State Players,

Little State is all about fun – traveling with your friends for a girls’ weekend filled with tennis, food and fun. This is what we want the players to look forward to each year and remember.

However, because of the weekend weather projections that include rain/flooding along with some wind, we believe it might not be fun or safe for everybody. Therefore, we have decided to cancel Little State 40 & Over for this year. This was a difficult decision.

The tournament cannot be rescheduled because of court availability issues.

We will be mailing your teams’ requested t-shirts to the captain’s address on the USTA website along with a check to take your players to lunch or drinks – depending on your mood.

Because of multiple expenses, we cannot refund the full entry fee.

Please wear your Little State t-shirts on your dry courts and plan your 2019 team trip to Little State in Corpus Christi – we would love to see you!

Thank you for understanding that Mother Nature has other plans that do not include tennis in Corpus Christi this weekend.

We are preparing for Little State 40 & Over.🏅
And, yes, we have seen the weather forecasts and yes, the tournament is still on.
We have squeegees and know how to use them!
However, we are hoping to have beautiful, mild weather just for the tournament players!!🎾

We had a wonderful weekend hosting the Men's and Ladies' 18 & Over Little State Tournament. Thank you to everyone who helped with the event and thank you to all the players for their energy and competitive spirit.

We are now preparing for the Men's and Ladies' 40 & Over Little State September 14th - 16th.
