and VISITING ALL 50 states on an EPIC TRIP in 2 1/2 months this past summer! 🏆🎉
WELCOME TO THE ALL FIFTY CLUB!
Most memorable travel experiences:
• The Icy Roads of Alaska - Driving through Alaska’s icy roads was surreal. The untouched beauty, combined with witnessing the Northern Lights, made it unforgettable—a true adventure in the wild.
• Thunderstorm in South Dakota - One night in South Dakota, we hit a sudden thunderstorm. Lightning illuminated the plains, and driving through it was exhilarating. It showed us our resilience.
• Arizona's Desert Magic - Arizona’s red deserts were awe-inspiring. Camping under the stars in the vast desert, surrounded by the silence of the canyons, gave us time to reflect on our journey’s purpose.
• Lost in the Middle of Nowhere - Along those 26,200 miles, we got lost more than once. Each detour led to new memories.

Ellen Jovin and her husband Brandt joined the All Fifty Club with a PASSION! Ellen set up the Grammar Table in every state and discussed the Oxford comma, spaces after periods, semicolons, “which” versus “that,” and more. Be a part of the documentary release by contributing to the Kickstarter campaign!

A grammar guru takes her pop-up advice stand to all 50 US states to show that comma fights can bring us together in a divided time.

When we travel, we usually seek out stores unique to each state. However, out of curiosity, we researched which non-food retail stores are present in all 50 states. The list is surprisingly short! If you know of any we missed, let us know. Many other chains operate in 48 or 49 states, often missing in Alaska or Hawaii. Should we always embrace stepping outside our comfort zones, or is there value in the familiarity of brands we know?

Arthur Frommer, Army veteran and travel guide innovator, has died at 95

Frommer began writing about travel while serving in the U.S. Army in Europe in the 1950s. When a guidebook he wrote for American soldiers overseas sold out, he launched what became one of the travel industry’s best-known brands, self-publishing “Europe on 5 Dollars a Day” in 1957.
