Have out-of-town guests you want to get out of the house this weekend? We’ve got you covered with 2 great ways to explore – Victory Rover Naval Base Cruises and Naval Station Norfolk Bus Tours.

2 Hour Narrated Cruises of the Elizabeth River, Hampton Roads Harbor and Naval Station Norfolk depart from Nauticus on board the Victory Rover at 11am and 2pm Friday and Saturday and 2pm Sunday – navalbasecruises.com

We also offer 1 Hour Narrated Bus Tours of Naval Station Norfolk that depart from the Tour Office on Hampton Blvd., between Gate 2 and Gate 5. The bus tour takes you on board Naval Station Norfolk where you will see Admiral’s Row, Chambers Field, the ships of the fleet and more. Tours depart at 11am and 1pm every day but Monday. 2 Gantry Cranes on board the Seaway Albatross underway from Portsmouth Marine Terminal and headed to Port Saint John Canada. Expected to be operational in early 2025, these cranes have a 65-meter outreach and can service vessels with capacities greater than 10,000 TEUs, surpassing the Port Saint John's existing cranes in reach and lift height. The team from Global Rigging that secured the cranes on board cruised with us on the Victory Rover today to celebrate all their hard work. Next they are headed to Canada to get the cranes back ashore.

We were lucky to see three super aircraft carriers on today’s Victory Rover naval base cruise. From left to right: CVN 77 George H. W. Bush, CVN 69 Dwight D. Eisenhower, and CVN 78 Gerald R. Ford.
