[GRAD OPENING OF SZAPARY CASTLE]
Today the grand reopening of newly renovated Szapary castle was held in Letenye.
The reopening was opened by the Mayor of Municipality of Letenye, Mr. Farkas Szilard and opening speeches were held by Parliamentarian Mr. Cseresnyes Peter, Chair of Zala County Assembly, Head of Joint Secretariat, dr. Szucs Marton, director of Torch Culture House and Library and Dr. Koosz Attila, Honorary Consul.

[CLOSING CONFERENCE]
Today we held the closing conference of project Attractour. We informed participants about the results of the project and every partner held a presentation. Speeches also gave the director of Public institution REDEA, Sandra Polanec Marinović, the mayor of Letenye, Szilárd Farkas, the deputy of the Međimurje County Prefect , Sandra Herman, and Programme and communication manager, Tvrtko Čelan.

[STUDY TRIP]
🇬🇧 Today we are spending the day with students from MEV - Međimursko veleučilište u Čakovcu, Croatia, and students from Pannon Egyetem - University of Pannonia, Hungary, on a study trip. We are presenting the main outputs of the Attractour project, the joint turistic packages and renovated turistic sites - castle in Letenye and a guardhouse in Čakovec.

🇭🇷 U tijeku je studijsko putovanje studenata Međimurskog veleučilišta u Čakovcu i Sveučilišta Pannonia u okviru projekta Attractour. Studentima se upravo predstavljaju zajednički turistički paketi koji su rezultat projekta.

Today the Interreg Va Hungary Croatia CBC Programme has launched its second open Call for Proposals, with more than 20 million euro of EU funding available for joint cross-border projects of Hungarian and Croatian beneficiaries.

[PROMOTIONAL CAMPAIGN]
In the scope of the project, Turistička Zajednica Međimurske Županije participated at Ferien-Messe Wien, the largest Austrian tourism fair, from 10th to 13th January 2019. They represented the tourist offer of Međimurje through the slogan "Međimurje on the move".

[OPENING CEREMONY OF THE MEĐIMURJE PLACE OF TOURISM]

We are happy to announce that on 12th December 2018 the Međimurje palace of tourism is opened, office of Tourism Board of Međimurje County. The new building was presented by the Croatian Minister of Tourism, Mr. Gari Capelli, County prefect Međimurska Županija Mr. Matija Posavec and office manager of Turistička Zajednica Međimurske Županije Mr. Rudi Grula. The Project Attractour, funded by the first Call Interreg Va Hungary Croatia CBC Programme, has enabled the investment and equipment of tourist infrastructure, which is an additional incentive for the development of Međimurje as a tourist destination.🎉🏛🎉

[PROJECT PARTNERS MEETING]

On 22nd of November 2018, third project meeting was held in Letenye.Topics covered by a project meeting were regarding ongoing and upcoming activities. Organization of opening ceremony, attendance on tourism fairs at the beginning of 2019, printing of promotional material.
Next project meeting will be held in Čakovec in December 2018.

[CREATIVE WORKSHOP]
Today, at Međimurje tourism palace, Regionalna razvojna agencija Međimurje organized the creative workshop for pre-school children from kindergarten "Dječja Mašta" on the theme "Who were the Zrinski?". Group Mravići attended the workshop with their teachers Ivana, Riana and Katarina. Our colleagues from Muzej Međimurja Čakovec held an interactive workshop presenting the historical development of the Old Town Čakovec, family Zrinski and famous myth dragon Pozoj in a fun and interesting way.

[CREATIVE WORKSHOP]
Today, in a newly restored Međimurje tourism palace a creative workshop for elementary school children was held. Second-grade children from 1st elementary school Čakovec attended the workshop about the family tree and coat of arms of family Zrinski. Later on, they made their own family tree and coat of arms.

[JOINT WORKSHOP]
Currently, a joint workshop for Hungarian and Croatian tourist guides is taking place at Turistička Zajednica Međimurske Županije as one of the project activities in the implementation of the project Attractour. Krisztina Keller and Nora Rodek, representatives of the University of Panonnia - Nagykanizsa Campus, have prepared helpful presentations for tourists guides of this area.
Attractour promotes the project area as a desirable tourist destination with developed three new joint tourist packages based on the current tourists offers and strategic marketing plan of Letenye and Međimurje County.

[EUROPEAN COOPERATION DAY 2018]
Marking the European Cooperation day Regionalna razvojna agencija Međimurje in cooperation with Turistička Zajednica Međimurske Županije organized one day presentation workshop of the Međimurje tourist offer and language workshop on the basics of the Hungarian language. The workshop was attended by the students, future tourist workers, from Highschool Prelog and Economic school Čakovec.

[CREATIVE WORKSHOP]
On the 1. 6. 2018. in Muzej Međimurja Čakovec​ the second creative workshop for elementary school children was held. 20 children from the third grade, Elementary school Tomaša Goričanca from Mala Subotica, district school Držimurec – Strelec attended. During the workshop "Story about a hero", history Zrinski and coat of arms were presented.

Today Regionalna razvojna agencija Međimurje organized creative workshop for pre-school children from kindergarten "Vjeverica" on theme "Who were the Zrinski?". Regionalna razvojna agencija Međimurje is the Lead Beneficiary of the project Attractour. REDEA is a regional coordinator for Međimurje County and deals with strategic planning as a precondition for focused development, economic development, agriculture and rural development as well as human resources development. [OPENING CONFERENCE]

On September 1, 2017, Regionalna razvojna agencija Međimurje as Lead Beneficiary held the opening conference of project Attractour - Revitalization of cultural heritage into tourism attractions in Međimurye and Letenye area.
Project Attractour started on September 1,2017 and will last until April 30, 2019. The project is funded from Interreg V-A Hungary-Croatia Co-operation Programme 2014-2020
