We visited the Mobee family Museum,the Museum of slave market and the shrine of the chief priest. We also saw the Canon that was donated to the Ahohu family who were abolitionist.————————————————————————————————-
Badagry was one of the routes that benefited from the ongoing slave trade conflict between Portnovo and Dahomey at the end of the eighteenth century.
…………………………………….::::::::…….:::::::::::::::::…….:::: Slaves taken during inter-villages conflict were auctioned off at Badagry. Chief Mobee was one of the African chiefs who participated in the slave trade in 1883.

The Point of No Return is the spot where slaves were shipped to an unknown destination during the colonial slave trade regime. It is located in Gberefu Island which is a few minutes boat ride from the Badagry Marina.
