Only 1 week left to get your deposits in, especially for the Pheasant Shooters in order for me to obtain the required shooting insurance. Pheasant Shoots at Curraghmore Estate. And plenty of scenic & beach rides for the horseback riders. Trip has been shortened from a 10 night trip to a 7 night trip, arriving into Dublin on Tuesday morning January 30th now but still departing on Tuesday morning February 6th for return. It’s that time of year again, Tally Ho Irish Tours has finalized dates for it’s January/February 2024 trip to the beautiful & scenic southeast part of Ireland in County Waterford.

Pheasant Shoots, Foxhunting, Mounted Hound Exercise, Beach rides & for the non shooters & non riders there is plenty to see & do with sightseeing excursions available or self drive options.

Basic Itinerary:

Depart Friday, January 26th & arrive into Dublin the following morning, Saturday, January 27th.
Return Tuesday, February 6th.

Pheasant Shoots on Friday, February 2nd & Sunday, February 4th. Both of these shoots are by gracious invitation from Lord Waterford of Curraghmore Estate. Numbers for both shoots will be limited so please PM me (include your email) if you are interested & I will provide you with more details & pricing on each.

Mounted hound exercise will be on Thursday, February 1st.

Foxhunting dates are Tuesday, January 30th & Saturday, February 3rd. An extra day may be able to get added if there is enough interest. Foxhunting spots are limited & for experienced riders only.

Only 2 Pheasant Shoot spots left for my Ireland trip departing January 23rd, arriving Dublin January 24th & returning February 1st. There’s still a few riding spots available also if anyone is still interested in this trip, however there are no foxhunting spots available.

I’ve handled a group as small as 3 people to a group as large as 73 so if you just want to experience Ireland, explore the castle’s & scenery of this beautiful country, enjoy the pubs & world class food this trip is it! Please feel free to PM me with any questions or concerns.

Tally Ho Irish Tours is happy to announce it has finalized dates for it’s January 2023 trip to the beautiful & scenic southeast part of Ireland in County Waterford. Pheasant Shoots, Foxhunting and Mounted Hound Exercise are the main activities but there will be plenty of other riding (beach rides, pub rides, etc.,) & sightseeing available.

Depart Monday, January 23rd & arrive the following morning, Tuesday, January 24th.

Return Wednesday, February 1st.

Many of you may have been expecting this news…… Ireland imposed new restrictions on December 7th due to the new Covid variant that is now out, the restrictions mainly affect the hospitality side of my trip. These restrictions are in effect until January 9th & my trip was starting January 23rd landing in Dublin, too close for comfort so I feel it’s in the best interest of everyone that I need to cancel this trip until January of 2023. I will get tentative dates out as soon as I can but it’s usually the last week in January so start planning for that one! Anyone that I’ve received a deposit or payment from will get their monies fully refunded due to this cancellation. Tally Ho Irish Tours, LLC is sorry for this news but looks forward to January 2023 being an even greater trip. Thanks for everyone’s understanding & cooperation.

Tally Ho Irish Tours is happy to announce it is planning a late January 2022 trip to the beautiful & scenic southeast part of Ireland in County Waterford. Pheasant Shoots, Foxhunting and Mounted Hound Exercise are the main activities but there will be plenty of other riding (beach rides, pub rides, etc.,) & sightseeing available.

Everyone must be fully vaccinated for travel into Ireland & negative PCR or Antigen test within 72 hours of return to the United States. I will provide more specific details on this with my trip details once I distribute that to those that are interested.

Dates will be confirmed once I have an idea what interest I have in the Pheasant Shoots & Foxhunting BUT dates are structured around a Driven Pheasant Shoot on Friday, January 28th & a Walked Up Pheasant Shoot on Saturday, January 29th. Both of these shoots are by gracious invitation to me by Lord Waterford of Curraghmore Estate. Numbers for both of these shoots are limited (9 for Driven & 6 for Walked Up) so please PM me (include your email) if you are interested & I will provide you with more details & pricing on each.

Foxhunting dates are Saturday, January 29th, with either Tuesday, January 25th or Tuesday, February 1st. Mounted hound exercise will be on a day that does not conflict with any other activity. Please note, the Walked Up Shoot DOES conflict with the Foxhunting day on Saturday.

I have a few tentative dates listed below but are they are subject to flex slightly before I finalize the exact dates for the trip based on what feedback I get on what activities people want to do. After dates are finalized, any individual(s) is/are welcome to arrive or depart on a different day within the dates of my trip for an added cost of private transportation which I can arrange to &/are from the airport to hotel.

Option 1: Depart Saturday, January 22nd & arrive the following morning, Sunday, January 23rd with a return date of Monday, January 31st. (8 nights, longest trip). Allows for some additional riding, sightseeing & down time.

Option 2: Depart Tuesday, January 25th or Wednesday, January 26th & arrive the following morning, Wednesday, January 26th or Thursday, January 27th with a return date of Monday, January 31st. (4 or 5 nights, shortest trip).

Option 3: Depart Wednesday, January 26th to arrive the following morning Thursday, January 27th & with a return date of Wednesday, February 2nd. (7 nights). Allows for some additional riding, sightseeing & down time.

I somewhat was expecting this to happen so no August trip to Ireland this summer. Let’s hope all will be back to normal for my annual January foxhunting trip to Ireland in 2022.
