1. They are actually pretty rare so location is everything if you want the true overwater bungalow experience⁠
2. 90% of overwater bungalows are in the Maldives and French Polynesia⁠
3. Sandals just introduced over water bungalows in the Caribbean and now resorts in Mexico have introduced them in addition⁠
4. As of now, the only overwater bungalows in the US are at Disney's Polynesian resort⁠

Travel Tip Tuesday!!
Of course some of you are going to think this one is obvious but we cannot recommend more highly to take photos and videos while you are on your trips!

I know, I know some of you hate to be in front of the camera. Well, let me let you in on a little secret...
Neither of us originally liked to be in front of the camera but once you start seeing the pictures and how you are capturing yourself in some of the most beautiful places I promise you will cherish those!

We couldn't not share a little peek into our beautiful drive through the Blue Ridge parkway!

We did a section of this drive totally on a whim when we realized we were so close to it and let me tell you we will never forget this drive for more than one reason. Of course the drive was beautiful especially because we did the majority of the drive at sunset. This was the first time we really understood why they called it the Blue Ridge mountains!

Once the sunset we still had to drive back down the mountain and oh my goodness I think Dana was about to have a heart attack having to drive down at night with all the cliffs. Like we say though you have to get out of your comfort zone and that is what she did!

If your ever able to drive the Blue Ridge Pkwy or even a section we highly recommend it!
