This N6A got a flat bend, retro tets, retro brass, bourkes, shell removal, deep suspension,Rekindled Lids short flaps, replaced badly rusted chin strap clips and added one of our Rekindled Lids Nomex San Francisco chin straps. We offer a 3-5 business day turn around on sent in work and often times is done and out the door in less. You will not find a faster turn around time with the same high quality parts we use.

FINALLY AVAILABLE: Black on Black and black on grey custom brass is now available as an option on the website for you to order and then send in your helmet to have it installed or on your new build. The deal is for customization is just what will fit for wording inside the firemans cross. We will not be doing a logo you send in, we will not be doing any other colors and I will not be putting anything in the center of the cross. We are trying to stay as true to the firemans cross as much as possible as well as keep a “new” retro look with our looking like a “ I fight what you fear” product, not pre cut or pre drilled like the other trash out there. As always you can also order traditional brass firemans cross with what ever wording will fit in the cross.

NOT SOLD AS A LOOSE ITEM, purchased on website, we make them, you ship in helmet and we install them.

This thing will have all your admirers saying, “WOW! NEW BUILD UPDATES AND SENT IN WORK UPDATES:

We just started the last 20 builds of 2023 that are factory colors ! We have 5 flat black left and they are still running around 5 months from when they were confirmed.

So we are finally under a year for delivery times and it’s only going to get better when we don’t have to devote time to custom paint work. All helmets that have been ordered are actually in our possession as well as a nice stock pile for when we get caught up wait times will be SIGNIFICANTLY decreased. Exactly how long right now is still hard to say but under a year that’s for sure. Helmets are being delivered in around 4 months from time of order from MSA so that’s great news and long wait times were supposedly the one big hang up you guys had for ordering a new build.

Helmet updates:

We are currently building first week of August 2023 retro builds. We are working as fast as possible to manage sent in work, local appointments and retro builds. We have decreased the wait time by quite a bit consider it was close to 18 months before.

Those who opted for flat black prior to the June 2023 cutting of the service are still running 5 months after your build sheet is sent to confirm. Currently working on early May flat blacks.

GET YOUR OWN CUSTOM DEPARTMENT NAMED BRASS !

THE DETAILS:

Made with the same rugged brass our traditional retro brass is made with, printed with what ever you’d like for text in the traditional style Greek firemans cross, then we custom cut them to fit your lid.

Can be installed on the 5A,G5A,N5A,N6A and the Phenix TL2 with a brass crown( additional cost for crown)

They are not available as a loose part, no we don’t send them to your buddy who runs “a fire helmet shop”

Typically takes 2-4 weeks for us ti get to producing them then you will be asked to shop your helmet in, or make an in person appointment for the install.

$110 for the brass and that has the install price built into it.

There are no minimums and you can go right to the website and place your order.

No you can’t get a custom design, no you can’t change the colors,no you can’t get a custom black holder, you can change the text only, that’s about as willing as we will go from changing the traditional design.

RETRO BUILD UPDATE and shop

We are finish up a few stragglers from March and starting on the April of 2023 orders. I’m fairly certain we have almost all 2023 orders in our hands and it’s just a waiting game of when it’s your turn ! Typically once you get your build sheet to confirm it’s 1-4 weeks before it ships and if you select custom paint you can add an additional 5-6 months. You best bet is to drop custom paint and go with a factory color if you want your lid quick. Sent it work there is still no wait list for, submit a request, get an automated email with shipping info and send your lid in. Running 5-7 business day turn around currently on sent in work.

If you are local or willing to drive you can set up your own appointment on line. Go on website pick a date and time and lock it in.
