That’s right the first helmet shop to get to will be there again! Same place as always, firefighter row. We will be doing on site work to your helmets. Retro brass, deep suspensions, custom liners, impact shell removals, and this year we will have 24 NFPA Offender ™️ builds with us. 18 large black, 1 large red, 1 large yellow, 4 large whites, 3 large naturals. Prices will start at $1463 includes classic bend, basic brass, suspension color of your choice, earflapless liner, chin strap clips. Items can be substituted for additional cost.

Another fresh batch of helmets to restock the shelves, 25 more due end of February and 60 in March. We have been trying since 2019 to have an in shop inventory that we pull from and we are finally there. The shop crew has worked their ass off to get wait time down to around roughly 5 months for a new build down from 18 months. Will it stay at 5 months ? Who knows! It could get better or could get worse based on order volume. BUT it’s not because we are waiting for inventory any more. We have a shop and storage unit full it’s just a matter of how fast we can build them and how much other sent in work comes in. BUT we are pretty proud of this accomplishment.

A lot of times we forget to take pics of what is the bread and butter of this shop, that’s working on your existing helmets. This N6A got a flat bend, retro tets, retro brass, bourkes, shell removal, deep suspension,Rekindled Lids short flaps, replaced badly rusted chin strap clips and added one of our Rekindled Lids Nomex San Francisco chin straps. We offer a 3-5 business day turn around on sent in work and often times is done and out the door in less. You will not find a faster turn around time with the same high quality parts we use.

FINALLY AVAILABLE: Black on Black and black on grey custom brass is now available as an option on the website for you to order and then send in your helmet to have it installed or on your new build. The deal is for customization is just what will fit for wording inside the firemans cross. We will not be doing a logo you send in, we will not be doing any other colors and I will not be putting anything in the center of the cross. We are trying to stay as true to the firemans cross as much as possible as well as keep a “new” retro look with our looking like a “ I fight what you fear” product, not pre cut or pre drilled like the other trash out there. As always you can also order traditional brass firemans cross with what ever wording will fit in the cross.

NOT SOLD AS A LOOSE ITEM, purchased on website, we make them, you ship in helmet and we install them.

Daily we are building dream helmets in the Rekindled Lids work shop.

Guys,You can not remove the impact shell from a Phenix TL2 or Miller. It’s glued into the helmet and an integral part of the helmet. If it was removed the helmet would collapse on itself. It’s not listed even as an option when you go to send your helmet in and neither is a brass band conversion. It’s not something we do. That’s a @capitalcityindustriesllc exclusive thing. Our short ear flap liner with our much bigger internal liner will give you a better fit than any liner on the market including earflapless. Helmet updates: We are currently building first week of August 2023 retro builds. We are working as fast as possible to manage sent in work, local appointments and retro builds. We have decreased the wait time by quite a bit consider it was close to 18 months before. Those who opted for flat black prior to the June 2023 cutting of the service are still running 5 months after your build sheet is sent to confirm. Currently working on early May flat blacks.
