These countries are: The Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, France, the UK, Estonia, Latvia, Ukraine, Norway, Sweden, Spain, Canada, the USA, Mexico, Poland, Israel, Palestine, Turkey, Georgia, Taiwan, Thailand, Malta, Japan. Iceland, Pakistan, Indonesia, Philipines, Cambodia, Singapore, and lived in Lithuania for five months, and Malaysia for six months. Amber established Travel Like A Local to help influence the people around her. Amber grew up in a small southern town that was very close-minded. Everyone grew up having the same cultural background. The first time she left America, she began to realize that the world was much more diverse than what she had grown up with. She traveled to Europe with a tour group and had the trip of a lifetime. When she got home from her two-week vacation she was longing to go back and see more of the world, but something was missing. She realized to truly understand the places she visits, she needs to learn more about the local people. Now Travel Like A Local is dedicated to helping others learn about cultures and giving others the opportunity to explore this world we live on!
