Andean Adventures! Hanging out at around 10,000 feet for ATVs, archeological sites, Andean blessings, intentions and offerings, dancing, eating food from Mother Earth, watching master weavers (Guardians of the culture, Keepers of the earth). So much laughing. Pretty remarkable day!

Peru is a true foodie destination! (And the food is accessible and not intimidating.) So many fresh fruits and vegetables, delicious seafood, and great meats. Every meal we’ve had has been amazing. Two highlights have been a private cooking class and shopping the market with a remarkable chef (the articles about her adorn her kitchen), and a traditional meal with meats and root vegetables cooked on hot stones under herbs and rocks and dirt. We can learn so much about cultures through food! (And having fantastic guides to explain and interpret the food is so wonderful.)
