Smaragd River is located above the canyon of the Korana River, which springs from the Plitvice Lakes. The apartment has a great view of the nearby hills covered in forest. It is on the ground floor of a family house. It consists of a living room, kitchen with a dining room, bedroom and a bathroom. The entrance is covered with a wooden canopy where you can enjoy your morning coffee relaxing in the garden furniture. At night, enjoying a glass of wine, you can gaze at the beautiful starry sky. You can also use an outdoor barbecue in the garden behind the house. In the living room you can spend lovely moments listening to music from the radio or a usb, or watching satellite TV. WiFi is also included in the offer. You can prepare your favorite meals in the kitchen, and in the big fridge you will find homemade liqueur and a bottle of wine. There is a mini-fireplace in the bedroom so you can enjoy the enchanting light of the fire if you are cold, or turn on the air conditioning if you need to be refreshed. The bathroom is equipped with a washbasin with a mirror, a shower, toilet and a washing machine.

The apartment is located 250 m from a private beach where in the summer months you can find refreshment in a river which is very clear and clean. The offer includes free usage of canoes, so you can enjoy white water canoeing or take a swim at the nearby natural waterfalls. If you are a fan of diving, you can explore the travertine sandy river bed, see a school of river fish and enjoy the rich underwater flora. The area is rich in herbs like lungwort, thymus vulgaris, common yarrow, mantle, thyme and many others. Fresh air and a clean environment invite you for long walks along the area. Our offer also includes bikes, and if you like trail running the area is very suitable for it. A newly built bridge across the Korana River gives you the opportunity to explore the area, providing you with a 33 km course.

Restaurant Grand is only 500 m away, and they offer delicious homemade meals, beer, wine, or just a cup of coffee. On your way to the Plitvice Lakes, you will come across a lovely little town Slunj, and be sure to stop in Rastoke. There is a bus stop 450 m from the apartment. If you are arriving by car from the direction of Zagreb, you will see a big sign Smaragd River on the right. This is us!
