South Cape Images specializes in African Photographic Safaris that are conceived for small groups of photographers of all levels. We design our safaris to guarantee exceptional photographic opportunities and a True African Safari Experience. Capturing “Perfect Moments” is our goal and as expert wildlife and landscape photographers we will make sure that you return home with the images you pursue.

However, being able to indulge in the african wilderness is just as important and this is why we only use exclusive lodges and mobile tented camps that guarantee seclusion away from the tourist crowds and that meet your every need when returning from your photo sessions. Not only do we choose the right lodges and mobile camps in the right locations to guarantee a unique African experience but also choose the perfect time of the year for each Safari. Knowing when and where the wildebeest migration is going to take place or what park roads are impassible due to rains are very important factors that we take into account when deciding on safari itineraries and departure dates. Obviously the african wilderness works at it’s own pace and can be unpredictable but we will do our outmost to maximize the photographic potential of every safari destination. No obstante, disfrutar de Africa es tambien importante para nosotros y es por ello que solo escogemos los lodges y campamentos mas exclusivos del continente que garantizan intimidad y privacidad lejos de las avalanchas de turistas que frecuentan algunos de los parques que visitamos, dando prioridad a cualquiera de vuestras necesidades de cada dia. Aquellos No-Fotografos que desean acompañar a sus parejas o amigos seran bienvenidos en nuestros safaris. No solo seleccionamos meticulosamente el tipo de alojamiento, ya sea un lodge o un campamento movil, por su atencion al cliente. Ademas prestamos muchisima atencion a su enclave dentro del parque o reserva para garantizar una experiencia africana sin igual. No menos importante es el momento del año en que tiene lugar un determinado safari, teniendo en cuenta por ejemplo donde y cuando va ocurrir la Gran Migracion de Gnus o que parques van a estar incomunicados por causa de la meteorologia haciendo que el acceso al mismo sea imposible. Estos entre otros muchos son factores que marcan claramente donde y cuando comienza cada uno de nuestros itinerarios. Logicamente, Africa sigue un ritmo que a veces es impredecible pero nosotros haremos todo lo posible para sacarle el mayor rendimiento fotografico a cada uno de los destinos que ofrecemos.

These cats are fairly easy to see in this part of Africa. During our recent TANZANIA EXPLORER Photographic Safari we had a great sighting with one that was clearly on a mission to hunt. We stayed with her for a good 1 hour and during this time she tried her luck with a small herd of Thompson Gazelles

This was a truly lucky shot. I was shooting at the setting sun as we were cruising back to the Chobe Princess when this Pied Kingfisher showed in the frame. Shot a burst with my Canon R3 coupled with the RF600mm F4.0 and one of 20 came out.
