It’s time to kick off the festivities with a Halfway to Halloween celebration, and we’re conjuring up more spooky spectacles at this separately-ticketed event, which takes place on select nights at at , starting Aug. 9!

It’s never too early to start planning for Halloween, so if you’re already in the mood for the spine-chilling season, find out what’s in store for 2024. Get your costumes and candy bags ready, it’s go time for !

1. New costumes for Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse!

Get ready to strike a scary pose! Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse will greet guests during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party in their brand-new neon spiderweb attire. 🕷️

From the moment Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party begins and throughout Magic Kingdom you’ll be able to spot your favorite sinister villains and ghoulish foes! Who knows, you might even get to take a selfie with them. 😈

Get ready to let loose and show off your best villain DescenDANCE Party, taking place at Rockettower Plaza Stage in Tomorrowland. This new rave is inspired by the upcoming Disney Original Movie “Descendants: The Rise of Red,” premiering on Disney+ on July 12. 🕺

4. Bruno Madrigal joins the fun!

You’re going to want to talk about this. Because yes, we’re talking about Bruno. For the first time during the party, you can meet the clairvoyant character from “Encanto” alongside Mirabel at their Casita in Fairytale Garden. 🏡

5. New earlier start time for “Mickey’s Boo-To-You Halloween Parade”! 🎃

This year, Mickey’s Boo-To-You Halloween Parade will take place at an earlier time – perfect for those guests attending with little ones who want to enjoy the spooky fun before it’s bedtime.

This year’s separately ticketed event will kick off Aug. 9 and will take place on select nights through Oct. 31 at . Tickets go on sale for guests staying at select Walt Disney World Resort hotels, Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotels, and on May 8. For all other guests, tickets will go on sale May 15.

🐘 Smellephants on Parade Arriving to Magic Kingdom in May!

is about to get even more colorful as the installation of Smellephants on Parade presented by has begun at 🤡Storybook Circus. Guests visiting the land will go on a brand-new, interactive search-and-sniff experience, perfect for noses of all ages!

When entering Storybook Circus, guests will stumble upon a casting call posted by 🐭Timothy Q. Mouse, seeking out a “Whiff-sistant” to join Dumbo’s newest act. At the ticket booth in front of 🎪 Big Top Souvenirs, a cast member will provide guests with an illustrated map of the land and a sticker sheet to guide them in their first task as a Whiff-sistant.

And the task is simple: find all eight Smellephant statues scattered around Storybook Circus, using the stickers and map to track their progress.

The first of these colorful pachyderms has made its debut and appears to be sporting a guise we can get behind, reminiscent of one of our favorite circus snacks – 🍿Popcorn! As others arrive, guests will encounter additional circus-themed Smellephants, featuring fragrances provided by Scentsy, like Churro, Cotton Candy and 🍭 more!

🧩💙DAS Updates Coming to WDW & DL💙🧩

The Walt Disney Company is rolling out new changes to their Accessibility Services soon. We don’t have all the specifics yet but this is what we do know.

1️⃣“We’re adding more Cast Members and investing in specialized training on each coast to help guests identify and better understand the recommended tools and options, based on their needs.”

2️⃣“The Accessibility Services teams at the Walt Disney World Resort and the Disneyland Resort are here to assist guests with questions they have about our services. We encourage guests visiting to engage with us pre-arrival through our website and virtual video chats.”

3️⃣“We are teaming with Inspire Health Alliance’s health professionals, to help our Cast Members, as needed, determine eligibility for appropriate accommodations and ensure that these accommodations are provided only for the guests for whom they are intended.”

4️⃣“We will be making efforts to preserve the Disability Access Service (DAS) for those it’s intended to accommodate -- only those guests who, due to a developmental disability like autism or similar, are unable to wait in a conventional queue for an extended period of time. To help with this, we are also extending DAS enrollment for eligible guests from 60 days to 120 days and adjusting DAS party size to include no more than four, except for immediate family members.”

5️⃣“These updates take effect on May 20 at the Walt Disney World Resort and on June 18 at the Disneyland Resort.”
