Our knowledge is always first hand: we’ve either lived in or travelled extensively in the destinations we sell and scouted locations, activities, guides, partners who put together difficult logistics to build an unforgettable journey.

We have been a month away between South Africa and Namibia, guiding through National Parks, Reserve and private concessions. The two expeditions took us to remote areas as well as some favorite classics.
It is always a joy to be back to the red soil and be in contact with the vastnesses of this incredible continent.

Currently at Jawai they had a very close encounter with 5 leopards in one go: mother, father and 3 cubs.

After 3 amazing months in India, working and learning with is for us time to get back to Italy.
From horse riding safari to cattle herding, from Ayurvedic massages to yoga sessions, from delicious Indian food to refined continental experience we tried all that and have on offer and…we are truly impressed with their ethos, vision and service delivery.

Jawai is a land of coexistence.
In this picture a Rabari, semi-nomadic cattle herder tribe, according to mythology created by Lord Shiva to look after his spouse’ camel, is paying devotion to the lord in a small naturally formed cave.
The caves and crevasses in the 850 million years granitic outcrops dotting the landscape are used as well by the wild residents of the area: leopards, langurs, hyaena and so on.
Being here is a constant learning and an exceptional experience!

was the first luxury safari camp to open in the proximity of Ranthambore National Park and since then the family run operation has heavily invested in conservation, uplifting of the local community through employment and educational programs and rebuilding a sensational new tented camp.
For the past 2 weeks we have been traveling around Rajasthan with - going on safari adventures, exploring the incredible landscape and getting pampered, as one should!
During 2020/2021 the family-owned and run operation has rebuilt 2 of their camps: in the proximity of the World-renowned and and in a rural area of dramatic scenery and pure human-animal coexistence.

I met 15 years ago, he was working for an upmarket company promoting exclusive retreats in Southern Africa. I was particularly struck with his passion for what he was doing and his competence. He also introduced me to a project he was working on: Uthando.
Uthando means love in Zulu and in Xhosa.
His project has started in 2008 and links tourism to non profit development project in the less privileged community around Cape Town.
Finally this morning I was able to visit with him two of the projects Uthando supports and
Both projects aim to create tools for the youngster leaving in disadvantaged area.
I was truly impressed and moved by the work done by both this projects and I will make sure that everyone who wants to come to Cape Town through Nomadico will spend a morning visiting one of the project Uthando supports!
A 3 night stay at enabled us to find amazing wildlife, do a walking safari, enjoy a superbly arranged bush lunch and a romantic sundowner and get to know the team who was taking care of us.
Obviously the lodge offers all the comfort and style you expect from a luxury lodge and from our point of view it should not even be discussed.
Our philosophy is to travel close to nature, have insights about the ecosystems we explore, be pampered but be light and gentle and try to understand where the people you come in contact with come from.

This morning we had some exciting sights and a lovely walk.
Our guides Dips and Bee are teaching us so much about the environment and we couldn’t be more happy to be with them!
After 5 years, I am back!
Jack’s Camp and the Makgadikgadi Salt Pans have been home for me for 6 years and I missed this place terribly.
Jack’s Camp has re-opened its doors in December 2020 after an extensive rebuilt.
Luckly the spirit of the place has not changed, it just offers more space and comfort than the previous version of the camp.
What I like about is the variety of activities on offer, the high level of knowledge of the guides, the excellent food and the quirky style.
The are unfortunately one of the area less visited of but I always make sure to recommend to my guests a safari out there.

What a beautiful day excursion in the West Coast National Park.
Only 2 hours from Cape Town, this park offers the perfect combination for people who likes walking and a bit of game viewing. During our walk we came close to zebra, eland, bontebok and tortoise.
In couple of weeks time the whole area is going to be covered in blooming flowers. We highly recommend a full day here!
Bags packed, safari outfit ready, friends are awaiting in Cape Town and more adventures to happen in the magic land of Botswana.
