It’s a rare treat to slow down and have time to make memories together as a family. Families seem to bounce from school, to work, to extracurriculars, to that pile of laundry that you can no longer ignore because everyone is out of underwear. 🤦🏼‍♀️

We feel it most when we get the chance to actually sit together for a dinner without rushing. One of our most prized times has always been mealtime, and not just because we are foodies. We love the time it gives us to actually connect.

Vacations should not be stressful. They should not have you running in 30 different directions with a phone tied to your hand, still missing opportunities to gather as a family. That is why cruising has become our preferred way to travel.

Even if everyone finds different activities during the day, we still get to gather around the table in the evening. 🍽

No phones.
No TV {other then bedtime when we enjoy milk and warm cookies from room service 🥛🍪 while watching a movie together}.

Listen.… I’ve heard of Titanic. I knew what happened and had zero desire to sail. 🫣
4 years and 6 cruises later, it’s safe to say we are hooked. 🚢

It's hard to explain how INCREDIBLE these last few days have been. That may be a bit surprising considering I'm an otherwise wordy person. 😄

Over the next few days I will be unpacking the excitement that has been building over the last several months. While I am still going to be available for Disney Destinations, my core focus is shifting. That means I will be limiting the number of clients I take on. As of right now I am still open for 2023 travel, but nearing the max for Walt Disney World® Resort.

Why am I changing my business?
There is a clear need in this world. People are feeling overwhelmed, exhausted, and alone. It's time to put purpose back into travel.
I have found a powerful way to make this happen and am ready to bring it to you...and beyond! ✨

So get ready.... get set.... it's time to __________.

Fantasmic! is back!!! 🥳 After an incredible day exoring new ways to bring magical experiences through travel, it only makes sense to cap it off with the return of this incredible show. 🥹

Some nights the priorities require a concession stand dinner. Tonight is 10000% one of those nights. 🍺🍿

As much as I’d love to say I’ll get video, there are two reasons I probably won’t:
• I want to be in the moment, enjoying every second of the show
• I’ll probably be shaking and/or crying with joy. Judge me if you must. 😜

Enchanted Offer on a Magical Stay at Walt Disney World® Resort

For many people, there are a list of concerns about cruising. For our family, we knew it was the exact SAFE travel experience we needed. And it was pure bliss. 🌺🌴
There are many assumptions about safe travel, and after having to rebook our cruise multiple times over the last year I can honestly say we have never felt more relaxed…so much so we are already counting down to the next one. 🚢🥰🎉

Disney Cruise Line has always held high standards to limit transmission of illness. They have stepped it up to the point that once aboard it was the most comfortable we have felt in months. {Heck, we all agreed we felt safer on the ship than we had during any trip to a grocery store, school, or even community park. Didn’t hurt that the cruises are running at about 30% capacity. 😳 Don’t believe me? Check out the fireworks picture…those nights are usually shoulder to shoulder people on the upper 2 decks🤯}.

Here’s the scoop:
• Guests 12 years of age and older must be fully vaccinated
• Guests 11 years old and under are not required to be vaccinated but must take a pre-trip NAAT test, rapid PCR test or lab-based PCR test for COVID-19
• All guests {including 11 and under} must take rapid COVID-19 test upon embarkation
• There were two nights of the feature show and two night of fireworks at sea to help with distancing {which was never even close to an issue}
• Sanitizer throughout the ship and required for entry to any dining (this / hand washing has always been a requirement), show, shop, or activity including the pools
•Masks were required indoors, other than when seated for dining or in your stateroom
•Masks were not required on Disney’s Castaway Cay island in the Bahamas other than when in line for the lunch buffet
• Buffets were still readily available, with Cast Members happily filling your plate, with no judgement when you say “more..a little more…ok, one more scoop” 💁🏼‍♀️
• Unlimited ice cream was absolutely still available on the upper deck, again, with Cast Members ready to serve all day. This was also the case for soft drink, tea, and coffee refill stations
• Kid clubs were open with an abundance of activities. The main modification being that you had to pick a time for drop off/arrival to ensure capacity requirements. This was never an issue and we could select multiple times throughout the day. The kids were still allowed to check themselves in and out with parental permission upon registration
• Trivia, animation classes, bingo, and other events were still happening throughout the ship!
• Adult areas were open with tons of events each night, exclusive to the 21+ groups
• Characters were EVERYWHERE! It was so much fun seeing them pop up all over the ship, on the island, and throughout all hours. Those impromptu sightings bring so much joy from everyone, I {not so secretly} do not miss the lines to meet our favorites.

This was exactly the mental health break our family needed. ✨
