Why has "social music" always been a passive experience? You can see what your friends listened to and that's pretty much it - not very social is it? Social music isn’t about everyone only listening to music, it’s about everyone creating music, and then sharing their creations with other music fans. SMX, the Social Music Experience, is making music truly social by building a global community of cr
eators and listeners to create, share, and experience music together. SMX was launched in June 2012 with a powerful mobile and social platform that lets people to create music quickly and share it instantly. The first app, SMX Dubstep, allows users with no musical training to create a Dubstep track in under 60 seconds and publish it immediately into the SMX community, where others can listen, comment, and even download the track into your iTunes library. Best of all, it’s all free. We’ll be releasing more apps every few months, and all of our apps will focus on our vision everyone creating music. Welcome to The Social Music Experience.
