Rohan Taylor took the 777 Matrix school wing for an XC flight in the Kiewa Valley over the weekend.. light climbs at the end of the season but still hung with B and C gliders before landing at his mates place in the garden… awesome work RT!!!

Feedback from PG3 pilot Bec Farren on her new 777 Klight2…. “Loving it, it’s a great fit for what I was after, responsive, can feel what is going on in the air like it’s sniffing thermals out, yet stable too, flattens a little but not heavy so I’m not feeling physically exhausted after a long flight!
Managed to put 8hrs on it last weekend!
It inflated really quick after a decent asymmetric

First flights on the new 777 Bishop tandem… winds were 10-13knots with passengers between 85-68kgs and tandem performed well…. Top landing in light wind is never easy in a tandem on a small coastal site and the Bishop was 3 from 3… need to now see how it performs in strong wind and with some heavier wing loadings for some freestyle fun…

The verdict Many manufacturers are producing two-line C wings. Triple Seven rejected the idea of moving to a two-line profile for this iteration of the Queen. The feeling is that the Queen 3 and Q-Light 3 can offer the best introduction to high-aspect wings for those trading up from lower-level wing...

2nd flight on Bantam2 12, first soaring flight. Winds were 20plus knots and was soaring with Moustache 15 and 18. This is feedback for pilots interested in Bantam2. Conclusion - fun dynamic wing which soars great and can be kept flat and flown like a paraglider, or can be thrown around like a speed wing. Already discussed trim speed - it’s quick.. I experimented with half and full bar. I estimate 6-8km/h faster at half And 12-14km/h at full bar.. rear riser steering feels good at trim and direct, but loose when accelerated. I also took a Asymetric collapse at full speed when near the trees. Recovery was 90-180 degrees, non issue as long as your off speedbar immediately and stop the turn. Certainly pilots should be aware when flying in turbulent environment to keep distance from terrain.. I wouldn’t suggest this wing as a full time soaring wing (due to its light materials) but it soars very well and nice to have that option as well as HnF. I am currently very happy with this wing on flight 2, looking forward to some mountain HnF and lines next month… #bantam2 #novaparagliders #hnf #speedsoaring

1st time playing with the Nova Bantam2 12. Wind wasn’t enough to soar but got the chance to “throw and go” and do some GH SIV… stall point is really low on the brakes but due to the small line length, deflations (at least when induced) are quite big….. can’t wait to do some HnF runs with this wing…#novabantam2 #groundhandling #hnf

October SIV course completed with all pilots learning new skills, glider recovery techniques and some basic Acro… special mention to Jason, who had the least amount of experience in the group yet completed all the flight maneovers. He confessed he had never done wing overs before attending and by the end - Was throwing the glider right over the horizon and then dealing with the massive Asymetric collapse from not applying enough outside brake… #triplesevenparagliders #knight2 #sphgc #nswhpa #safa_aus #sivaustralia

Day 7 of Tour 1 XC 2023…. Amazing day starting with a morning flight at the Alpspitze and Garmisch. Then we moved to Tegelberg and flew a XC task involving flying over castle Neuswanstein… climbs of 6ms out into the flats, brilliant conditions… finished the day with a pork knuckle back at Garmisch
