They say it's all about baby steps, right? This is my contribution to reduce plastic, a knitted dish cloth. After watching the BBC documentary "War on plastic", I'm trying to find ways to reduce plastic even more, and when that's not possible, at least replace it. When I noticed that sponges are made of plastic, I thought that I could replace it with a cloth. At that point, of course, I thought : why not a knitted one? And here it is. I made a small one because I think it's more handy, it's 100% cotton and it only took me four hours to knit it, it's really for beginners. I've used it a few times now and it works really well, better than I expected! If you are interested in knitting yours, please get in touch and I will be happy to give you my pattern.

So, this is my last effort, hats for the family! I knitted them for a colleague who's leaving, she wanted me to teach her how to knit but we never got around to do it, so I made them to remind her of me. Good luck Nil!!
I have to say, I didn't design this, I just saw it on YouTube and really liked the pattern, isn't it beautiful?? I just changed the yarn but I think it still looks nice.

I've always liked Alanis Morissette, but only recently I found out that she is an Hsp. She wrote this song as a reminder to herself that she needs to love herself even when the world doesn't seem to like her. It's a beautiful song and I recognise myself a lot in it. Hope you enjoy it

Hi! I'm back! Sorry for being late, it took a while because I was looking after my dad. As a HSP these things are quite important and yes, that was the priority for me. I just wanted to let you know that I'm working on a new hat and I'm loving it! It's a kind of dark magenta colour and it's alpaca. I'm knitting it in the round so it will be completely seamless. I hope it will be ready by the end of the week and in the meantime I'm dropping a work in progress photo so you can have an idea of what my hat is about. See you soon!

This is a hard time of the year for me. Days are so short and it's so humid and cold that I can hardly keep up with the minimum action required in a day. The only thing I would do is sit on my sofa with a blanket on my laps and a knitting project in my hands.
I have come to a decision of focusing on my knitting projects more than my page and website because I feel that I really need to look after myself. I hope that other people will take inspiration and do the same, the world can wait for a few days :)
From Christmas onward, when days will start to get gradually longer, I will be back with new stuff and loads of info. In the meantime, I hope you have a good rest of 2018 and I hope to see you back
