When you’re at the theme parks , it’s easy to get swept up in all the fun! But don’t forget—hydration is key! 🥤 Whether you’re park hopping, waiting in line, or watching parades, the Florida heat 🌞 can sneak up on you quickly.

Here are a few tips to keep you and your family refreshed all day long:

💧 1) Bring a Refillable Water Bottle: Both Disney and Universal offer free ice water at most quick-service restaurants. Just stop by and refill!

💧 2) Set Hydration Reminders: It’s easy to forget to drink water while you’re busy making memories.

💧 3) Cool Off in the Shade: Take breaks in air-conditioned spots or shady areas to give your body a rest from the heat.

💧 4) Watch for Signs of Dehydration: Dizziness, fatigue, and headaches are all signs you need more water. Make sure the little ones are staying hydrated too!

✨Remember, staying hydrated keeps the fun going! ✨

No one likes to exercise. But building your stamina for the theme parks can save you a lot of agony. No one wants to spend their vacation in a hotel room (or ER) because their feet are blistered over. Here are some tips to naturally increase your daily steps:

A) The average American only walks 3,500 steps a day 18,000 steps at a theme park in one day is A LOT if you are not ready. Start slow and increase your daily average by 500-1,000 steps. Add on as you feel able.

B)When running errands, park at the far end of the lot to add more steps. Skip the elevator or escalator and opt for stairs whenever possible. Take short walks around the office or outside during lunch breaks or other downtime. When on the phone, walk around instead of sitting. A quick walk after meals is great for digestion and can add to your daily step count.

C)Don't forget to take the kids along. They will need to prepare too. Follow their lead and take it slow. Adding more as they seem ready. Keep it fun for them buy playing music or playing Eye Spy while walking.

🚶‍♀️✨ Happy Feet, Happy Trip! ✨🚶‍♀️

Hey friends! As a travel advisor (Butterbeer and mouse ear extraordinaire and self proclaimed park pro 😉), I know firsthand how important it is to take care of your feet while visiting Disney or Universal. A full day of adventure can take a toll on them, so here are some tips I’ve found helpful in keeping those tootsies happy! 🦶

⚠️ Disclaimer: I’m not a doctor, so always check with yours for health advice!

1) Break in New Shoes: Trust me, wearing new shoes without doing this = BLISTERS! 😬 Months in advance, start walking in them around the house or for daily walks to get them park-ready!

2) Build Up Stamina: Depending on your current fitness level, you may even start a year out. My goal? 10,000+ steps on average per day and standing as much as I can. 💪 Tomorrow, I’ll share my tips on how to up your step count without even realizing it! 🏞️

3) Switch It Up: What my rotation of park shoes? Running shoes, Vans, sandals, and Crocs. Sometimes, I’ll even switch midday for extra comfort! Trust me, your feet will thank you. 🙌

Remember, happy feet = a magical vacation!
