This morning’s walk to breakfast; Bhutan.

A long long climb on a gentle gradient led us through foliage that as we climbed, changed due to altitude. Along the way, monkeys clambered in the trees as we enjoyed magnificent scenery. After noon, the character of the ride changed as we explored the farm tracks of the Phobjikha Valley, where we spent the night.

At 3000 metres, the 108 stupas of Dochu La pass were a beautiful reward for our 18 kilometre climb (as was the 40 kilometres descent that followed 😃).
