We have two distinctly different rivers in the eastern end of the valley that we fish for white sturgeon - one you can see into for miles (Harrison), the other a slammed shut door at times (Fraser). The Fraser clip is post Chilcotin slide breakthrough - a tumultuous couple of days down here.
For the record, the Fraser has always been my favourite river to fish in. The variety of scenic landscapes offers new perspectives as we move about the various reaches day to day. The mystery of the turbid water and the ever changing powerful flows fuel imagination and offers challenge.

Silky and handy Nick fished a number of days here and we had a great time! Always a pleasure fishing in Relentless 1 with these two - great people who love the art of spending time, just fishing. We even caught a few fish, too. May we all be so lucky to spend time together in the boat again.

Great guests fished with us the past week - we get to meet cool people who love the outdoors and the outdoor life. And we get to see old friends return and fish with us - always rewarding. Speaking of which, Silky is back in town with handy Nick, and he PB’s on first day. Summer has been (and so far still is) awesome! Thanks to all who fished with us so far this year!

Oh boy did it ever rain! The grass is green again, river temperatures are dropping nicely, and all is well on the Fraser. Nice fish, too! Here are some happy guests fishing with Bowie.

Another weekly re-cap.
Sturgeon fishing has been fair.
Water temperatures are fluctuating and the rain is helping to keep temperatures cool for migratory fish and sturgeon.
But something is coming - we’ll see how it pans out down here.
