Our 2nd joint venture with swj joinery in the last month. Just before xmas we dug out a drive that they were doing a full refurb on . We laid new foul and surface water pipes, aco drains and prepped ready for a new paved drive , when they are ready for that to be done.
After xmas we had a kitchen where there had been long term damp issues. We took up the floor, replaced half of the floor beams, placed a full ply floor, laminate floor and reinstalled kitchen base units with new doors. We started taking out the floor on the monday and had everything in place by the friday for new woorktops to go in. Swj joinery assisted by installing new worktops and installing a bespoke boiler cabinet.

This was the last job done before xmas . We made bespoke mesh panel fences to allow the most light possible to a basement flat. Laid a new paving to a pathway and garden area and had time to do a lot of clearing work to the garden and created herb beds, which we did at no extra charge.
We had some tarps left over from previous works and so we cut up to minimise w**d growth till spring. Access was a nightmare for this one. Thanks to hogans skips for supplying us with skips with sub base and sand to make the job a lot easier as there was no chance of getting a hiab delivery to this one

Thank you Richard and Lewis for all your hard work getting this in before the Christmas break! New fence, new patio, new path with drainage and soak away! I can’t wait for the spring now I have a clean and tidy space to hang out my washing out and grow my herb garden! Looking forward to you sealing the slabs in the spring too!! Only a couple of days of this business year left. Another extremely busy year ,with plenty all ready booked in for a good start to next year.

Now the weather has warmed up a bit weve returned to this one. Handrail to stairs is in. Pizza oven has been put together ready brickwork face and rendering, shelving for cooking area is in and tiling is grouted. We have saved all tanalised off cuts for an outside fire pit and white wood offcuts for the pizza stove. No wood wasted

New wrap around composite decking installed on new timber strucure. New timber to front to be stained to match existing. Originally we had discussed with the client that there was a possibility that we would need to replace the existing structure as we could not determine from above , but it had only been done 5yrs ago. Unfortunately the way it had been built and the rot we found meant we had to replace. We did manage to do within the same labour cost though with some hard graft

What a horrible day. One of the jobs today was to replace a floor on a summerhouse that was in otherwise good condition. Didnt want the new floor getting wet. So jacked up the structure, built new floor below in the dry and then lowered summerhouse onto newly levelled floor and fixed. Put composite strips below new floor to improve lifespan too. Saving new roof work till tomorrow when its hopefully drier.
Almost finished the new composite deck and wall strengthening on this one. Few extra bits to do as requested

Almost there. Been a slog. Dog compound done.bin store done. Drainage issues done. Electric cable routes for lighting etc done. Composite cladding 90% . More paving for another area next week and finally get to tile outside kitchen

We are now moving away from other works and concentrating our efforts on fencing and landscaping . We will complete any promised projects , but will not take any further indoor works on. Thankyou for your continued support.

Built this summerhouse on my own this week.insulated floors and roof. 5 x3m log cabin with a log bar.Had to stain and protect outside as it was built ( but even the client helped with the staining), which wasn't fun with the weather we've had this week. Start the planters and paving next week

Sometimes you have to take one on the chin and work for the family, but at least they worked with me . Composite deck done mostly by my son and his partner with a little assistance. Composite deck in a day, over a garage roof

Outside kitchen is coming on well.We poured the Concrete worktop today. On with the summerhouse next week
Still more composite cladding to do before we start the paving and raised beds
