This sunrise picture was taken yesterday when my husband flew from Galena to Kotlik (northwest coast of Alaska). Between the layers of clouds and darkness...the Sun shining through. How resplendent is that light.. it’s enriching what surrounds us..we just have to look beyond where we are to embrace the marvel of the universe. Happy Solstice!!

Prayer flags are a symbol of freedom , a spiritual freedom that rises above any governmental control. Chinese Authorities are forcing these flags down as an environmental clean up. Really !! The Tibetan people’s right to exercise their spiritual practices are stripped away. On another issue, Please support the Bill that’s in in the Senate. This Bills is in opposition to China’s next step to elect their own Dalai Lama after the current Dalai Lama passes away.

It will only take a few minutes to sign.

June 18, 2020 One of the most beautiful symbols of Tibetan culture and religion is forcibly coming down as part of China’s efforts to destroy the traditions and way of life inside Tibet.
