Cyprus is a unique island-country located in the eastern Mediterranean sea. Since ancient times was a link among civilizations, a coveted treasure. Cyprus has always been an important island in the Mediterranean Sea as many civilizations have tried to conquer it. The earliest confirmed site of human activity on Cyprus is Aetokremos dated back to the 10th millennium BC. Cyprus history can be traced

all the way back to the Mycenaeans , the Phoenicians , Egyptians , Assyrians and Persians. Over the years it was also sought by the Romans and Richard the Lion heart on his way to the crusades. It was also sold to other conquerors until the Venetians , the Ottoman Empire and Britain also wanted a piece of Cyprus for their personal gain accordingly. The ideal place to live or visit:
Cyprus is well known for its beutiful beaches with sandy beaches and crystal clear waters. Each cyprus city has its own beauty and displays a small piece of paradise. From Paphos to Larnaca the coast is filled with hundres of beaches for you to experience. According to the area , the village will have a different climate, scene, activities. The Cypriot cuisine is much like the Greek cuisine. Cypriot cuisine involves appetizers, delicacies and salads, main dishes and sweets. 1.00p.m. The parade will be preceded by the Limassol Municipality Brass Band, the Majorettes of the Cyprus Girl Guides Association, Serenaders, the Batukinio percussion band and the Limassol Majorettes.

The parade will be headed by King Confetti, a sea of floats and pedestrians.
