Our Founder, Guest Relations Manager and Top Tour Guide Molly has gone to chase tennis balls over the Rainbow Bridge. We are, of course, sad with the news. But we were so blessed to have loved and cared for and by our wee Irish Lab Collie Superhero Molly π
Our hearts are overflowing with the love she gave us, and we hope that the video's and photos we shared over the years have brought you joy π
I wasnβt a dog person but as always Kim was richt and it has been the happiest 6 and a half years of our lives.
Molly made us so proud and honoured to be her Pawrents for the second half of her life after an uncertain middle.
Thank you to everyone who showed Molly love and kindness and those who put up with me to talk to Molly.

Molly and I love welcoming visitors to Stirling and hearing their stories of why Bannockburn, Stirling Bridge, and Scotland matter to them.
In 2023, we wanted to show how much Bannockburn, Stirling Bridge, and Scotland meant to us, so we donated our fees to the Guardians of Scotland Trust from our Stirling Bridge Tours and the Strathleven Artizans from our Bannockburn Tours.
Thank you to Claire and Ian from and John and Anne from Icefire Glassworks for their beautiful gifts for Teba.
In 2024, we will continue to develop our Freedom Tours. Thank you to everyone who has shared our journey ππ΄σ §σ ’σ ³σ £σ ΄σ Ώππ

We haven't posted for a wee while. We have been a tad busy over the summer. We moved house, had a record summer of tours, been to the Douglas Days Festival in Teba, Spain, and then had a wee flood.
All good, though, and looking forward.

Kim, Molly and I are looking forward to today's Wallace Oak Event with Cha Halliday and friends in the Society of William Wallace.
Cha has led from the front and inspired those around him to get involved to keep the Wallace Oak Project moving forward.
Molly and I did our bit selling Scottish Superheroes T-Shirts & Hoodies to help fundraise to support Cha's efforts.
The Wallace Oak Memorial was unvieled in Port Glasgow in October 2021. See attached photos.
Today, the remainder of the actual Wallace Oak is finding a home in Clan Hunters Castle in Ayrshire.
Many thanks to Cha, Sean Donnelly, George Kempik, Neil Lochiel, Gary Stewart, and friends in the Society of William Wallace for these two new visitor attractions. They join the many around the world to honour William Wallace.
Andrew De Moray will be remembered soon in the place I call home.
Thanks to Cha for playing his role in keeping both Wallace and De Moray aliveπ

Candice and Andy from the States joined us at Stirling Bridge last Saturday.
We sent out our welcome pack and included ... Best Coffee , World Record Store Day and Kilt Making
Later, I went into Europa Music to discover Candice and Andy were in buying vinyl π. Then they went next door to Unorthadox Roasters ππ
Yesterday, on our way to a tour at Bannockburn, I popped into Unorthadox for a coffee, and Claire from A Wee Favour rushed over to buy it for me. She then tells me that our American friends popped and Andy bought a Kilt πππ
A No Bad result for 3 small local businesses π
That made me smile π Then Claire carries on ... and then they returned, Andy had convinced Candice to buy a kilt as well ππππ

When our members met Humza Yousaf last week, they asked him to consider a Minister who would be responsible for keeping The Promise.
We are therefore pleased to hear the announcement of Natalie Don MSP on her role as Minister for Children and Young People and Keeping The Promise.
We hope this role allows for greater support and recognition of the needs of Care Experienced adults too. We look forward to meeting with Natalie at the earliest opportunity and providing the vital feedback loop to the care community.
On this Day in 1306, Isabella MacDuff, the Countess of Buchan, aka The Lady in the Cage, crowned our Greatest King, Robert the Bruce, King of Scot's. Isabella is one of Scotland's greatest heroes π
Isabella crowned Robert the Bruce King and suffered at the hands of Edward Longshanks for following her Patriotic duty. His punishment? Isabella was hung in a cage from the walls of Berwick Castle for 4 years and died in captivity.
The Clan MacDuff had for 200 years previous, the hereditary rite to crown the Scottish Monarchs. With her young brother Duncan, Earl of Fife, held captive in an English Court, she raced to Scone and gave the Bruce's Coronation legitimacy.
Edward I thought he held the 4 Aces: King John Balliol in exile, the Stone of Destiny and Scottish Crown Stolen and the Kingmaker Duncan, Earl of Fife in his court.
Step forward the most fearless of Fifers, young Isabella MacDuff, who stole her husbands horse and raced to Scone. Her husband was namesake and cousin of John Comyn, who the Bruce had slain. By following her Clan Duty, she could never return to her husband.
When she arrived at Scone, Bishops Lamberton and Wishart had already conducted the ceremony the previous day. Isabella demanded her Clan rite, and the following day, 27th March 1306, Isabella MacDuff crowned Robert the Bruce for a second time.
Isabella would suffer terribly for undertaking her Clan Duty. Thank you for your sacrifice and courage.
T-Shirts are Β£20 and Hoodies are Β£30. A Β£5 donation from each sale will go to The Wemyss Improvement Group (TWIG) who help keep the Wemyss looking beautiful with their planters and flowers - see attached photos.
