What inspired us to create The Open Atlas?
“Opening up a travel agency has been a desire of mine for a while, primarily to be able to refer my wedding clients to a reputable travel agent to help plan their honeymoon. Just a few short years later, that desire became a reality! Even better, we get to plan more than just honeymoons, we get to serve ANYONE who is looking for a vacation that is well-suited and customized for them! I firmly believe that our world is worth exploring and seeing. After all, I never heard anyone say “I wish I never took that time to take a vacation”. I SO look forward to connecting you to the world and helping you create forever memories. To help widen your horizons and to open and lift your eyes to the magnificence of creation. “My journey into the world of travel started in 2013 during a two-week mission trip to Southeast Asia. This experience broadened my perspective, unveiling the beauty inherent in diverse cultures worldwide. From this, my wanderlust knew no bounds. I explored various parts of Asia, embarked on a backpacking adventure in Europe, endured an 18-hour flight to Australia, ventured solo to Greece for a summer, and impulsively jetted off to Mexico for a brief escapade. The allure of travel stems from my profound aspiration to expand my horizons, encounter unique individuals, and unravel the intriguing facets of different cultures. Sharing this passion with others now allows me to connect them with the resources they need to explore the world through their own eyes and I can’t wait to hear about all of the amazing adventures to come!” -Ally
