Organized by Karnataka Sangha Qatar, the Karnataka Cup Cricket Tournament has concluded with the participation of eight teams including Doha Rock's own Doha Tuskers cricket team.

"Karnataka Sangha" a socio-cultural organization of the Kannadiga community, expatriates from Karnataka state, India. The Karnataka Sangha Qatar came into existence on March 1999.

As part of Gulf STAR Group's CSR, Doha Rocks Cafe joined focusQATAR with the launch of focusLADIES Qatar.

Focus QATAR is a non-profit youth organisation which was created in order to bring positive changes to the community and to create a platform for opportunities to uplift themselves and the society. Focus Qatar was established in 2005 and is now registered at the Indian cultural centre ICC under the aegis of Indian Embassy, Qatar.

After the completion of its 10 successful years on February 2016 focusQATAR came up with the formation of it’s women’s wing named focusLADIES,with the aim of channelizing the creativity of the women for the welfare of the society. There are many expat women who have got variety of skills and wishesto work for the society. focusLADIES provide a platform for the young women to utilise their skills for the benefit of society .

After its formation it has conducted various programs like art and craft workshop for children, ladies gatherings and Islamic classes for ladies, iftar kit consisting of homemade food for laborers, medical camp for lady workers, Eid celebrations,GREENfocus- a public program conducted by focusLADIES as part of promoting the kitchen garden at residences in Doha, EduFocus an educational career guidance program, focusLADIES Sports Day etc. Our future programs include medical camp for laborers organized along with Ministry of Public Health, Ramadan iftar kit and being part of the 7th Qatar Malayali Conference in November.

Thus focus ladies aims in helping its members to refresh their minds, mingle with society, open the door of togetherness, and offer a helping hand to their problems.
