Just arrived today from Idaho, USA. It’s is so beautiful and everything is in bloom. It was snowing when I left home.
If you have been thinking about a trip this summer- come with me! It will not be as high paced as some of my previous trips but there is a lot of beauty in taking things a bit slower. The evenings will be yours to relax or adventure on your own. If you can manage your own luggage- this trip is for you.

People ask me all the time (including yesterday), “what got you into this travel business?”
Let me tell you: My first trip to Europe was solo. Just me, my camera and my gigantic backpack (this was before suitcases had wheels- I’m not lying!) on an international flight. I was going for 2.5 months to see as much as I could see.
My first week was spent with my German sister, who we hosted in 1991-1992, our senior year at Wasatch High School. Somewhere in the middle, I got to spend a week with another lifelong bff, in Sweden. My last week was spent with Swiss-born Yvonne (another life-long friend from German club at UVCC). The in between time I was pretty much on my own.
I LOVED EVERY MINUTE.
But man, I wanted to share it with someone, anyone… everyone!
And now that’s what I get to do. It is a DREAM COME TRUE and it has been in the making for almost 30 years. I love sharing what I love. And helping those who maybe need an extra nudge to brave the big, wide world.
So I invite you to come with me. I will take care of you!
I’m excited about this trip - it’s been a long time since I’ve been to London or Paris! There will be a lot of extras available with this trip, including Disneyland, possibly Normandy and a show in the West End (Matilda, Wicked, Les Miserables). Let me know if you’re interested!

One more day before this group goes home and I do t think we can top today! We have found the best best food along the way as well. Last night at Harder Kulm in Interlaken was 10/10 for me.
This group! We are on day 3 and have had so much fun together! Day 1 was spent in Luzern, day 2 on Mount Rigi and day 3 in Bern. Half the group went to the temple this morning and the rest of us are wandering around finding as many fountains and unique shops as possible.

You will always need a rain jacket when traveling inSwitzerland-even more so in the spring. But the cooler weather and the absence of crowds are worth the chance of rain.
Join me as we spend a week hitting some of the most magical locations Switzerland has to offer.
We will travel by train, staying in
Lucerne and Interlaken as we explore the Alps and villages nearby. Breakfast and some excursions will be included.

Another thing I love about Switzerland is how easily accessible the mountain tops are. Sure, you can spend hours or all day climbing them, with stops for picnic lunches or bread and cheese from farmer-run shops along the way. But you can also take a gondola or cog train to reach the tops. Incredible experiences either way.

@lizmocheezmo This time last year we were in Switzerland aka HEAVEN. The mountains are incredible to look at but also easily accessible with plentiful gondolas and cog trains. We rode this gondola straight into the clouds.
