125-Year-Old Church Restoration Project - Kingsburg, California

We’re honored to work on restoring the exterior of this historic 125-year-old church. The original wood moldings and corbels were crafted by hand from clear redwood—a testament to the incredible skill and dedication of the craftsmen of the past.

We’ve sourced 80-year-old, old-growth clear redwood that will allow us to mill and match the church’s original exterior trim, moldings, and details. Preserving the authenticity of this building is our top priority.

We are continually inspired by the techniques and artistry of those who came before us. This project is both a challenge and a privilege, and we approach it with deep respect for the craftsmanship of centuries past.

Rebuilding Dreams & History: PCI has four lakefront homes in progress.
These projects are coming along— we are rebuilding not one, but four beautiful lakefront homes side by side in Huntington Lake that were tragically lost in the Creek Fire. Some of the cabins lost had been in the family for many generations. Though the landscape looks bare now, without the lush forest that used to surround it, these cabins represent hope, resilience, and a fresh start (with a view that’s hard to beat). Every project we take on is about more than just construction—it’s about restoring what was lost and building new memories. Follow us as we help transform this lakeside back into a community.

A beautiful fireplace for a beautiful home in Shaver Lake. This living room exudes a cozy, lodge-like atmosphere with the use of natural materials and a warm, inviting color palette. The stone fireplace is a grand and central feature of the room, built with large, irregularly shaped natural stones that give it a robust, earthy appearance. The stonework extends floor to the ceiling, enhancing the vertical space and drawing the eye upward to the arched wooden beams. The mantel, made of thick, rustic wood, is wrapped with custom made iron to compliment the custom built iron fireplace screen. The combination of natural materials and classic design elements represents the craftsmanship Pius Construction is known for.
