Zadar, a picturesque town on the Adriatic coast, is well known for its rich history. It is the place with some of the most beautiful architecture and cultural heritage on the Adriatic coast. But it is also a place where you can experience the most spectacular sunset. Famous film director Alfred Hitchcock even proclaimed it the world’s most beautiful sunset. Let us take you on a specially curated tour of Zadar, so you can feel this magic as well 🌅✨

The best way to experience the sunset, is to visit the Sea Organ during the golden hour. This is an architectural marvel situated at the Zadar Seafront called Riva. It is a series of broad steps leading down to the sea. The sea waves and mechanism underneath the steps produce unique tunes and sounds 🎶 A truly amazing experience 🥰 Nearby, you will discover an installation called The Greeting To The Sun ☀️ Another brilliant art piece. This monument is created with 300 multilayered glass plates. They absorb solar energy and create spectacular light show after sunset ✨

After this unique moment, we’ll explore the Old Town strolling through the narrow cobbled streets. We will visit the Roman forum and St. Donatus, a remarkable circular church and the symbol of Zadar. Cathedral of St. Anastasia, St. Mary’s church and monastery, and the famous main city street Kalelarga are also in the vicinity. Five Wells Square and the Museum of Ancient Glass are great places to visit as well. You’ll be amazed to find out that Zadar City Walls, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, were impenetrable.
