Flash food drive alert! 💥💥 is partnering with , , and to support Nourishing Network as they collect non-perishable items for food insecure kids in the Edmonds School District. Look for this box in our lobby (Lynnwood & Fremont) and help us overflow it with shelf-stable foods! Food drive runs July 1st through July 7th!

One of the best ways to help kiddos build healthy eating habits is to get them involved in the kitchen! Even the simple stuff - like peeling an orange or deciding what’s for dinner. Or maybe your kid likes to get his or her hands dirty when it’s time to bake. Either way, let’s start em’ young 😜

Our Nutrition for the Family talk next Thursday, 6/6, will be a fun and awesome hour exploring different ways to create a positive food environment at home. Come and learn about tips & tricks to sneak veggies into your kids’ favorites, meal prep strategies, and all the ”whys” behind the importance of fostering healthy habits at home.

Hey EM!👋🏼 In case you haven’t met me yet, my name is Holly, and I’m one of the registered dietitians around here. Here are 5 facts about me, in case you were wondering 😆 1. I’m super uncoordinated, but I absolutely love exercise and activities, especially outdoors (i.e. attempting to ice skate as pictured here).⛸ 2. Margaritas are my drink of choice! Especially when fresh squeezed☝🏼🍈🤤 3. Black Butte Ranch in Central OR is my favorite place to getaway and relax.🌲🗻 4. I ran my first marathon a couple weeks ago! 🏃🏻‍♀️ 5. Starting a veggie garden is at the top of my spring/summer bucket list, so if you see me, hold me accountable & ask me how it’s going🥒🍅🥬🍓🥕Hope everybody is having a wonderful week! ☺️
