Private Cases with spirit by Amanda APS

November 2022 (Revised)

Not only do I work on missing person and cold cases, but I work on private cases.

Most of my private cases are from people reading my posts regarding my work with spirit. Also word of mouth from people messaging my multiple pages on many platforms.

These beautiful souls are looking for answers regarding their loved one’s death. Most of my private cases ask the question was it sui__e or was it mur__r?

These cases are from the family left behind, looking for truth and closure. Sometimes I’m their last hope for those answers to be given from their spirit family. We all want justice for our loved ones whose lives were taken from them tragically.

With my work we deal with vulnerable souls and sometimes before I have a phone conversation to explain my findings to my client’s, I have to prepare myself mentally as I have to be strong for the ones on the other end of my phone call.

Sadly (some) m_____rs have been ruled as a su____e. I’ve dealt with this many times now in my work with spirit. It’s truly a double-edged sword for family left behind picking up the pieces when they have a gut feeling something is terribly wrong.

The truth is police (sometimes) have an incredibly difficult job in a case finding evidence even when they feel foul play is at hand.

The frustration from my clients can be immense and trying to get justice isn’t as easy as we wish it was.

It’s a true struggle for family left behind and trying to get a case reopened that was legally declared a sui__e.

Sometimes life just isn’t fair but we keep going.

Cold cases and the police with Amanda APS

Australian Paranormal Society

July 2024 written by Amanda Wright-Tabone APS

I don’t often talk publicly about police contacting me on a case that I’ve given information on. I have decided I’ll share some details of call I had not long ago with a detective. I’ve also been asked by this detective to look into several more cases for them. This has been a proud moment for myself as a medium and researcher.

About three years ago I gave the name of several perpetrators on the case of a missing woman from the 1990s. This case was messy with several players involved in this ladies disappearance and subsequent murd3r. I gave one full name and several first names. I had not had feedback by police on this case in years (which can happen). Fast forward to recently I received a phone call from a detective asking me if I could try and get more Information on the surnames of the other first names that I provided in my first report to police.

I got off the phone to the detective which was late afternoon and went directly into my spirit room. I sat there meditated and prayed (as I always do) and asked this lady (who I will nickname as Tina) to come forward in my session which she did strongly. The name of the other men (that had no surname) were repeated again. I asked Tina for a surname of the men responsible, still only first names were being given.

That night I went to bed as I wasn’t feeling the best and went to sleep immediately. I had this dream of Tina. It was like I was actually there at the time of her kidnapping but I was sitting in the back of the wagon watching the scene unfold. Tina was in a blue Holden kingswood wagon with three intoxicated men. I kept hearing one full name and a nickname. When I woke up I immediately wrote down all details from my dream. I have many detailed dreams relating to my cases. Does anyone remember the horrific case of Anita Cobby? This is exactly what happened to Tina. (I’ll share Anita’s story in comments for those that don’t know her story)

So after I’ve documented my dream I go into my spirit room to conduct another session to see if I can gain more information and insight into Tina’s death. As our session progressed Tina kept repeating the name John Drake (name changed) and then she gave me really strange nickname, the pieces were coming together (from my dream). So I asked Tina if she could give me more details to help locate her body. Tina gave me the name of a forest which I know very well (as we visited there allot in my youth with my family as my fathers friend was one of the ranger’s looking after this forest).

So after a few days I contacted the detective via phone, I shared my information with the detective and the detective paused when I gave him the nickname. The detective said to me “ok, I know who that is Amanda”. There on the spot I had this overwhelming feeling inside that kept yelling “yes”.

Cold cases are not easy to solve but giving information to police is hopefully that one step closer for the grieving family left behind to have some sort of justice in the death of their loved ones.

Thank you my followers.

The key is to never give up.

Unlocking the Biblical Meaning of Doorbell Ringing

At first blush, the thought of finding deeper, spiritual meaning in something as commonplace as a doorbell might seem peculiar, perhaps even laughably so. But delve into the rich tapestry of biblical symbolism and you’ll discover a fascinating world where every object, great or small, holds profound significance.

From the smallest mustard seed to the grandest mountain, from a simple shepherd’s staff to a mighty king’s crown – nothing is too mundane or excessive to serve as a vessel for divine truths. In Scripture, symbols are employed as parables in their own right; visual aids crafted by Divine Authorship that draw us into deeper communion with spiritual realities.

They act like metaphysical bridges spanning between our tangible world and God’s transcendent kingdom. Understanding these symbols thus becomes more than just an exercise in literary analysis; it’s an open invitation to explore our relationship with God.

The beauty of biblical interpretation is that it does not devalue or disregard our everyday existence; rather it infuses it with depth and dimension. In this light, even something as seemingly innocuous as a doorbell can transcend its quotidian nature to become an intriguing symbol worth delving into.

A Ding-Dong Dilemma: Doorbells then vs now

Of course, before we thrust ourselves headlong into this exploration, we must first acknowledge an obvious hiccup: doorbells aren’t exactly biblical artifacts. Indeed, they are thoroughly modern inventions compared to the ancient scaffolding upon which our sacred texts rest. However, if we allow ourselves some creative latitude and squint just so at history’s long arc – it isn’t too difficult to see how the essence of a doorbell, the symbolic function it performs, may indeed find its roots in biblical times.

Rousing knocks upon wooden doors; trumpeting horns announcing arrivals; rhythmic drumbeats signaling a gathering – all precursors in one way or another to today’s electronic chimes and buzzers. The act of announcing oneself, seeking entrance, heralding an arrival – these are all deeply human actions that echo across time and culture.

And they reverberate within the sacred text too. Our task then is not to shoehorn modernity into antiquity but rather uncover these reverberations and see what wisdom they might sing back to us.

Understanding the Symbolism of Doors and Bells in the Bible

The Door: A Portal to Opportunities and Transformation

The humble door, often overlooked in our daily hustle and bustle, occupies a significant position in biblical symbolism. It represents transitional spaces and opportunities.

The concept of a door is used frequently throughout the Bible, most notably perhaps in Revelation 3:20 where Jesus says, “Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me.” In this passage, Jesus presents Himself as a gentleman caller waiting patiently for us to invite Him into our lives.

The ‘door’ symbolizes our hearts while His ‘knocking’ signifies God’s gentle yet persistent call for us to turn to Him. This invitation offers an opportunity for spiritual transformation; opening the door allows His divine influence into our life.

Additionally, doors can be metaphorical gateways between different states of being or levels of understanding in religious contexts. For instance, opening a door might signify stepping from ignorance into enlightenment or transitioning from sinfulness into righteousness.

Sounding Bells: A Clarion Call or Warning

Now let’s turn our attention to another common household item mentioned numerous times within biblical texts – bells. In Exodus 28:33-34 we find them sown along the hem of Aaron’s robe – a high priestly garment – each made of pure gold hanging between pomegranates.

When Aaron enters or leaves the Holy Place his movement causes these bells to ring out; their sound serves as an auditory reminder of his sacred duties before God. The ringing bell thus becomes something more than just noise; it transforms into a herald announcing divine service or warning against forgetting one’s holy obligations.

Bells can also symbolize communication between God and His people, as the sound of the bell reminds us of God’s presence and provokes mindfulness of our actions. The spiritual implications of ringing bells extend further into symbolic interpretations, often used as a call to action or a warning signal.

In some Christian traditions, church bells are rung to gather congregants for worship or to alert communities of potential danger. This gives the ringing bell an almost dual persona; it is both an invitation towards a divine encounter and an admonition against straying from righteous paths.

Putting it Together: What Does a Doorbell Ringing Mean Biblically?

The Spiritual Significance of a Doorbell Ringing

In the grand tapestry of biblical symbolism, it’s compelling to consider what a doorbell ringing might signify. If you ponder on the separate elements – a door as an opening or opportunity, and a bell as an announcement or call to action – their fusion in the form of a doorbell presents potent spiritual implications.

Just as hearing your doorbell ring in the physical world signals that something is about to change (someone is arriving, leaving, or delivering something), the same could be said for its spiritual counterpart. In this aspect, we might view the doorbell as God’s subtle way of alerting us to incoming shifts in our lives.

The sound resonates within our soul – not audible with our ears but deeply felt within our spirit. When we recognize and open ourselves up to these divine nudges, we can better prepare ourselves for spiritual growth and transformation.

Interpretation as an Impending Opportunity or Change

In Scripture, doors often symbolize opportunities – new paths that we can choose to walk down if we muster enough courage and faith. A knocking on these metaphorical doors (or indeed, a ringing doorbell) may indicate that an opportunity is awaiting acknowledgment.

This prospective opportunity could be anything from personal growth to career advancement or even new relationships. Just like when your physical doorbell rings heralding arrival of guests or packages; spiritually it could mean arrival of fresh opportunities knocking at your life’s door.

We must remember though that not all change comes without challenge. Indeed, many biblical stories involve individuals who faced adversity when they decided to walk through God’s opened doors.

Yet ultimately they found blessings they couldn’t have imagined. Thus, a ringing doorbell might be God’s way of nudging us towards these blessings veiled in challenges.

Interpretation as a Call to Action or Warning

Let’s not forget the other side of the coin – bells throughout biblical history have served as warnings. Bells were used in olden times to alert communities about impending danger or call them to gather for important announcements.

So, could a spiritual doorbell ringing also serve as an alarm bell– a divine forewarning about impending trials or tests? The spiritual sound of this celestial doorbell could be calling us to reevaluate our path, urging us towards much needed change in attitude, behavior or relationships.

It might also alert us to potential pitfalls ahead, allowing us time to pray, seek wise counsel and prepare ourselves mentally and spiritually. So next time you hear your metaphysical doorbell ring, take a moment for introspection – Is it an opportunity knocking?

Or is it divine alarm system sounding off warnings? It could very well be your call for action or change.

When the Divine Doorbell Rings: The Story of Noah’s Ark

An idyllic example of seizing divine opportunities at the right moment, as symbolized by the opening of a door, is found in the story of Noah’s Ark. In this saga, God presents Noah with an opportunity to save his family and a pair of every living creature from an impending flood. This invitation can be likened to a celestial doorbell chiming, beckoning him to step into an unanticipated role.

Noah doesn’t balk or question; instead, he embarks on a monumental task with unwavering faith. He constructs an immense ark according to God’s precise specifications—an act equivalent to walking through an opened door in response to the heavenly summons.

The result? His family and thousands of animals are preserved from cataclysmic destruction.

Indeed, Noah’s story provides us with a model for responding when our divine “doorbell” rings. It teaches us that even when faced with formidable tasks or unexpected changes—we should seize these opportunities just like Noah did—by stepping forward in faith.

Heeding Heavenly Alarms: The Story of Jericho

The narrative which resonates most strikingly with the symbolic warning chime of a bell is undeniably that of Jericho’s downfall. Here we find Joshua and his Israelite army encircling the impenetrable city walls—not with siege towers or battering rams—but blaring trumpets akin to ringing bells. Not just any trumpets either; they were rams’ horns known as “shofars.” For six days they marched around Jericho once each day, then seven times on the seventh day—a peculiar battle strategy indeed!

Yet each sounding horn was essentially a divine alarm bell tolling not only for Israel but also for Jericho’s denizens—warning them about imminent ruin if they failed to repent. The climax came with a crescendo of trumpet blasts, a mighty shout, and the impregnable Jericho crumbled like a house of cards.

The story serves as an emblematic reminder—when we hear our celestial “doorbell” warnings, we must not ignore or dismiss them casually. Instead, like Joshua and his men, we should prepare ourselves for the impending changes or challenges they foretell.

The Modern Application: How to Respond When Your “Doorbell” Rings?

Guidelines for Discerning Spiritual Signs: Navigating the Landmarks of Your Personal Journey

When we encounter spiritual signs or symbols such as a metaphorical doorbell, it’s critical to appreciate their significance and understand how they can guide us on our faith journey. These symbols often come subtly, whispering gently into our souls, requiring our utmost attention and attunement.

The first guideline is to stay open-minded and attentive. Spiritual signs may come in various forms and at unexpected times.

A doorbell could be a sudden opportunity, a serendipitous encounter, or an inexplicable internal nudging towards a certain direction. Our task is not to categorize them rigidly but rather to recognize them when they show up.

Secondly, never dismiss any sign as insignificant or coincidental. In the grand scheme of God’s plan for us, everything has meaning and purpose – even the seemingly mundane or trivial events could be significant markers pointing us towards a particular path.

Listening Carefully for God’s Call: The Art of Divine Eavesdropping

In responding appropriately when your “doorbell” rings, there must be an intricate understanding that listening is key. We need to foster an environment within ourselves that allows us to hear God’s call clearly amidst the clamor of daily life.

One way we do this is by spending quiet time alone in reflection or meditation. This involves deliberately setting time aside from our busy schedules to focus on what’s going on within us – listening intently for that still small voice guiding us in the right direction.

We must also strive to develop profound patience and humility in listening for God’s call. It might take some time before we fully comprehend what’s being communicated or before things begin making sense; but patience assures us that in God’s perfect time, everything will fall into place.

Seeking Wisdom through Prayer and Scripture: Unraveling the Divine Mysteries

Another pivotal step in responding to your “doorbell” is seeking wisdom through prayer and scripture. Prayer is our direct line to God, a powerful tool that fosters communication with the divine.

In prayer, we not only talk to God about our concerns or thanksgiving but also listen quietly for His response. Immersing oneself in scripture also helps illuminate our path.

The Bible serves as a guidebook filled with wisdom, providing answers and guidance that can help us decipher spiritual signs. Reading and reflecting on Bible passages that revolve around certain symbols or signs we perceive can offer deeper insights into their significance.

Practical Steps When Faced with New Opportunities or Warnings: Walking Through the Door

When your doorbell rings – when opportunities present themselves or warnings are perceived – it’s important to take practical steps towards action. Begin by evaluating what this means for you personally and spiritually.

Ask yourself questions like, “What is this opportunity teaching me?” or “How is this warning helping me to grow?” Next, consult trusted spiritual mentors or advisors who can provide wisdom and guidance from their own experiences.

They could help you discern whether the sign aligns with what God wants for your life. Be bold enough to act on what you have discerned.

This could mean seizing a new opportunity courageously, making necessary changes in response to a warning sign, or simply waiting patiently if that’s what is required at the moment. Remember always that faith without works is dead; so once you’ve heard the doorbell ring – don’t be afraid to open the door.

Conclusion: Embracing the Unexpected Ding-Dong

The Melody of Meaning: A Synopsis of Biblical Doorbell Symbolism

In our journey through interpreting the biblical significance of doorbell ringing, we’ve unraveled layers of metaphorical meaning behind common everyday symbols like doors and bells. Just as doors in biblical times represented transitional spaces, opportunities, and decision points, our modern understanding has echoed this sentiment. We’ve seen how a simple act such as opening a door – whether literal or figurative – can lead us to new paths or pivotal changes in our lives.

Meanwhile, bells have had their share of the spotlight throughout holy scripture. They were traditionally used to herald important events or warnings.

In unison with doors, they create an interesting spiritual concept – that is the ringing doorbell. When interpreted biblically, a ringing doorbell could be symbolic of an impending change or warning; it’s a spiritual nudge nudging you to take heed.

Our exploration has also led us to revisit biblical narratives that underscore these interpretations. From Noah’s Ark being an opportunity seized at just the right moment to the walls of Jericho tumbling down preceded by sounding horns – these stories have provided us with valuable insights into understanding and applying this symbolism in our lives.

An Echoing Encouragement: Persevering Through The Ding-Dongs

As we draw this discourse to a close, it’s time for some uplifting words for all those who have taken this enlightening journey with us. If life presents you with a ‘ringing doorbell,’ don’t shy away from its call. Whether it’s an opportunity knocking at your doorstep or a warning bell tolling for careful consideration; embrace it with courage and wisdom.

Remember – each ding-dong is potentially divine in nature; an inscrutable nudge from above guiding you towards growth and self-improvement. So, stay attuned to these spiritual signs and allow them to guide your decisions.

A Final Flourish: The Lingering Sound of Hope

And now, as we stand on the threshold of this exploration, let’s leave with a sense of optimism and hope. The reassuring hum of a doorbell – whether it brings welcome guests or heralds a momentous change – is an invitation to embrace the unexpected with open arms. The biblical interpretation of doorbell ringing is more complex than it may initially appear.

Yet it yields rich insights that can provide guidance and direction in our lives. As you go about your day, remember that each ring could be a divine call to action or reflection – an invitation from the universe itself to seize opportunities, heed warnings, and grow from each experience.

Cellular Memory

This woman says she feels love differently since her heart transplant. She wants to know why?

Some researchers suggest the controversial idea that a donor organ could transfer memories to a new recipient

By Mykella Van Cooten · CBC Radio (article in comments)

Where the heart lives

Anne Marie Switzer was baptized and given her last rites at just two days old.

She was born with a congenital heart disease called transposition of the greater vessels. Even after receiving the life-saving surgery known as the Mustard procedure, she still faced many complications throughout her life.

At 50 years old, she got the gift she had prayed for her entire life: a new heart.

But shortly after her heart transplant, something changed — something she couldn't easily explain.

I know I love my family, but I don't get that squishy feeling [anymore]. - Anne Marie Switzer
Perhaps most importantly, Switzer says her feelings of love are no longer the same.

"I don't know when the first time I realized it," said Switzer, who is from Brampton, Ont. "I know I love my family, but I don't get that squishy feeling [anymore]."

Thoughts and memories of her loved ones used to feel warm and tingly, she said. Now, they feel logical or factual, or cold.

"I love my husband, but I don't always get twitterpated anymore," she added, referring to the butterflies-in-your-stomach, love-at-first-sight feeling described in the classic Disney film Bambi.

"It's definitely a loss
because I'm a heart person; I'm a love person; I'm a relationship person. I don't know how many people have told me, 'You've got such a big heart.' And I miss that," she said.

"Why don't I feel that?"

While seemingly rare, It's not an unheard-of phenomenon.

Some researchers believe it may be possible for donor organs to hold and even pass on the characteristics and experiences of its original owner onto the new recipient, via a process known as cellular memory.

Dr. Michael McDonald, a medical director at the Toronto General Hospital's Ajmera Heart Transplant Centre, says the term typically refers to how the body develops immunity to diseases.

"We all have cellular memory as part of our adaptive immune responses that keeps us safe from disease, infection and cancer and anything foreign," he said.

In other words, it allows our body to remember how to fight diseases we have encountered before. Transplant medicine experts, however, work to make sure that same response doesn't reject a new organ as a potentially harmful foreign object.

"When I'm thinking of [the] strictly clinical function of an organ, I'm
interested in: Is it doing what it's told to do by the rest of the body? Is it squeezing blood around the body? Is it emptying? Is the heart rhythm normal?" said McDonald.

"Beyond that, you know, it's hard for me to say whether there are other components to what a heart can offer, particularly from a donor that's not native to the recipient."

Controversial science

Some researchers, however, have taken the idea of what organs can store — and perhaps pass on — even further.

In a 2019 journal article published in Medical Hypotheses, Dr. Mitchell Liester presented an idea that "memories from the donor's life are stored in the cells of the donated heart and are then 'remembered' by the recipient following transplant surgery."

The evidence for it, however, remains inconclusive and highly controversial.

Dr. John Wallwork, former director of transplant service for the U.K.'s National Health Service (NHS), says it's impossible for a physical organ to change your personality, your memories or how you feel.

"Our culture sees the heart as the seat of life, love, the soul. There is no basis in science for this," he offered as an explanation.

A German study from 1992 surveyed 47 patients who received an organ transplant, and found that the majority of them did not experience any change to their personalities.

Everything we thought we knew about memory is wrong

How a heart transplant gave this Ontario man new zest for a 2nd chance at life Fifteen per cent said they did experience changes, but attributed it to the trauma of undergoing a life-threatening procedure. Six per cent (three patients) said their personalities had changed, and attributed it to their new hearts.

Although the numbers are small, Liester said reports of personality changes after a heart transplant have existed for nearly 50 years. But he added that "this phenomenon has not been well researched and is not well understood."

He added "that neither the lack of an adequate explanatory model, nor doubts regarding the existence of such changes, disprove the occurrence of this experience."

A 2016 blog post by The University of Melbourne noted that many studies that examined this phenomenon were done with very small sample sizes, and sometimes with subjects chosen to support the researchers' bias.

And the discussion continues. In 2021, an article offered a "hypothetical explanation" of what it called an organ donor's "heart memory transfer" to some heart transplant recipients, citing the 1992 German study among others.

That said, McDonald acknowledged that a heart transplant is "one of the most transformative experiences somebody can go through."

"We hear
a lot when we're face-to-face with our patients about the different sensory and emotional, cognitive, personal experiences that they have after recovering from transplant," he said.

The Change of Heart memoir

One of the most famous stories of the transplant-recipient experience comes from the late Claire Sylvia. Her 1997 memoir, A Change of Heart, was adapted into a 2002 film called Heart of a Stranger.

After her heart-lung transplant, she wrote that she felt as if "a second soul were sharing my body." She experienced new desires, including an appetite for beer, junk food and curvy blondes.

Five months after surgery, she dreamt about a tall, young man named Tim L.

"We kiss, and it feels like the deepest breath I have ever taken. And I know at that moment the two of us will be together forever," Sylvia wrote.

Her late husband's kidney saved this man's life. Years later, she gave him one of her own
'His heart still beats strong to give life': How an organ donation united 2 families "I woke up knowing — really knowing — that Tim L. was my donor and that some parts of his spirit and personality were now in me."

She later discovered her donor's identity via a few details from her nurse, which she then used to find his newspaper obituary. Eventually, she located and visited Tim L.'s family. Their description of him matched the man she saw in her dream.

Sylvia sought help beyond her doctors, and consulted "open-minded scientists" who told her "cellular memory" was the cause of her new appetites and memories.

Where the heart lives

Since her transplant, Switzer has noticed other changes. For example, she went from not caring for the taste of pickles, to wanting them on all her hamburgers.

Switzer never met her donor. She was allowed to write a letter of gratitude to their family via the heart transplant clinic.

Still she strongly believes the changes she feels have something to do with her new heart.

Switzer has heard and considered the arguments — those that support, and those that cast some doubt on the strange phenomenon she says she experienced.

In the end, she doesn't believe anyone can truly speak to the heart-transplant-recipient experience except someone who has been through it.

"They can [only] speak to knowing of, but they can't speak to knowing, unless they've had that experience," she said.
