💭Things to know before you go!
Here are a few tips for the best experience when going to see our friend down at the Bayou, next month! 💚
✨Drop on in-to virtual queue...
When Tiana’s Bayou Adventure opens on June 28, it will use a virtual queue. Guests can request to join the virtual queue via the My Disney Experience app at one of two times: 7 a.m. or 1 p.m. While a standby queue will not be available during the attraction’s initial opening days, we expect to open a standby queue soon after the attraction’s opening.
✨Disney Genie+ service.
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure will also be included as a Lightning Lane entrance in Disney Genie+ service. Purchasing this service on the My Disney Experience app helps guests get to some of their favorite attractions faster through Lightning Lane entrances and includes digital downloads of select Disney PhotoPass attraction photos taken in the park on the day of purchase. Guests may check the app on the day of their visit for pricing and availability.

Beginning opening day, Golden Oak Outpost and The Friar’s Nook will be serving up these light, sweet, and fluffy beignets drizzled with honey and powdered sugar.

🎆Fireworks are back beginning July 1st🎆 This is my FAVORITE comeback yet ❤️ A Disney tradition since 1957, fireworks shows are what Walt Disney called the perfect “kiss goodnight” at the close of a magical day, and this summer the skies above Disney theme parks will sparkle with color once more. Beginning in July, just in time for the nation’s Independence Day celebrations, our incredibly popular nighttime fireworks spectaculars are returning to Disney parks! At Walt Disney World Resort in Florida, July 1 marks the start of nightly fireworks performances at Magic Kingdom Park and EPCOT. “Happily Ever After” will transform Cinderella Castle with lights, projections and pyrotechnics, as moments from favorite Disney stories encourage Guests to grab hold of their dreams and make them come true. And as part of the ongoing transformation of EPCOT, “EPCOT Forever” will produce a spectacle of fireworks, music and lighting effects over World Showcase Lagoon, highlighting the themes of innovation, exploration, imagination and celebration at the core of the park’s past, present and future. As Disneyland Park in California welcomes back all guests, the fun starts July 4 with “Mickey’s Mix Magic” presented nightly throughout the summer. State-of-the-art projections, show lighting and lasers will transform Main Street, U.S.A., Sleeping Beauty Castle and the façade of “it’s a small world” into a dazzling, family fun dance party that goes sky high with fireworks to celebrate the leader of the club, Mickey Mouse.

Eeeeekkkkk! The Festival of the Lion King will be returning to Disney’s Animal Kingdom mid May! This is a favorite of ours and we are so excited for it to be back 🦁
Talk about Change on a Tuesday 💁🏻♀️ Characters...so many people are hesitant to go to Disney World right now because you can’t hug characters or get their autographs. It’s different for sure but here is something I’m certain of...the kids still feel the MAGIC. ALL. OF. IT. Both of our girls have been to Disney pre covid and were able to do all the “normal” character things...meet and greets, hugs, autographs, dining meals, big parades, etc. But they didn’t once ask to do any of these things. Not one time. They were perfectly happy and excited for how things are now and it really showed in their excitement. They loved the mini cavalcades and character meals and even talked about how these things were some of their favorite parts of the trip. They said they got to see soooo many princesses and characters and to two little 6 year olds, that’s all they needed ❤️ Take the trip and make the memories while they are still this age! I’m so thankful we did 😘
Waiting tip for your Friday... I snagged these at the dollar store and we are using it to keep her busy while waiting for our cousins to get off a ride. Little miss didn’t want to ride Test Track 💁🏻♀️
Favorites on Friday 😍 The skyliner is my favorite form of Disney transportation by far! It is such a fast, easy, and fun way to get to Epcot and Hollywood Studios from certain resorts. It’s constantly moving so lines are rarely long and if they are they move fast. The following resorts are directly on the skyliner... Pop Century Art of Animation Caribbean Beach Riviera You can also easily get to the Boardwalk, Beach Club, and Yacht Club using the Skyliner. This was our first trip on it 😍 Caroline was a little nervous but by our second trip she was a big fan too 👏🏻
