🌞 Summer is in full swing at Team , and we're gearing up for an epic end of July with ! 🚴‍♂️🏕️ This year kicks off in Glenwood, IA, and our team will be hosted by Bill and Jennifer in nearby Pacific Junction. Still have spots open for last-minute friends!

Here are a few of the places we plan to stay at during this year! Our team enjoys private land accommodations with power, water for showers, and toilets, making your week a bit more comfortable and each day easier.

We also have a team cook who prepares meals featuring beef and pork from our team owners' family farm, available at an additional cost per meal.

Even though RAGBRAI registration is closed, we still have room on our team for last-minute bandits! If you're registered for RAGBRAI but need better accommodations, we've got you covered, too.

Our full-service week starts at $600, with options for tent valet and more.

We have our own shower system allowing you not to waste time finding where the showers are, the costs, or major lines.
This amenity is already included in your stay with the team.
We have at least 2 Kabos at every overnight location (toliets)
Our camping locations are homeowners that give our team permission to use their land.
Drink coolers are stocked daily and are donation based. Donations keep it getting refilled.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF BEING ON A RAGBRAI TEAM vs. a RAGBRAI CHARTER?

CHARTERS are large groups that require lots of space.

- TEAMS are typically smaller and can use spaces from homeowners

ARE THERE LINES EVEN AT CAMP FOR KABOBS/SHOWERS?

- CHARTERS can have huge shower and toliet systems that seem to have lines more often than not.

- TEAMS typically are more personal connections with little to no lines and have more of a community vibe.

DO YOU NEED TO REGISTER FOR THE GROUP AND THE EVENT?

- NO CHARTER WILL ACCEPT ANYONE WHO DOES NOT HAVE PARTICIPANT CREDENTIALS ISSUED BY RAGBRAI (The official identifying number is indicated on the wristband, bicycle band, and the baggage tag.)

- TEAMS you may or may not require registering with RAGBRAI (WIMPYTURTLES DOES NOT REQUIRE REGISTRATION TO RAGBRAI, BE A BANDIT IF YOU WANT)

I WANT TO JUST RIDE, DO YOU HAVE TENT VALET?

- CHARTERS typically have valet services BUT they have there own tents that you are assigned (in a sea of valets)

- TEAMS may or may not have these options

Hey all! Just wanted to let you all know that I’ve decided to retire from RAGBRAI, so I won’t be with you all this year. I’ve had a wonderful time riding with everyone the last 20+ years, but It’s time for me to move onto other rides and things!

I’m signing my share of the team over to Matt, David will still have the other share. Things may look a little different this year, but Matt is excited to take over and everything will be organized through him and David from now on.

I love you all, and will miss you all greatly!

This year we decided to reproduce one of our favorite Team Wimpy jerseys from many years ago. Jerseys will run $70, but the price will drop to $60 a piece if we order over 20. So, if you're considering ordering a jersey this year...please do!

1. 2022 RAGBRAI Registration is open for team WimpyCARES. If you're interested in riding with our team, please fill out our registration form: https://forms.gle/yD9ZnPbtHsKPM1U36

2. Our jersey design is complete! We will be making an additional post with an image of the design—in the meantime, please let us know if you are interested in purchasing a jersey. They will run $70 a piece, but the price drops to $60 if we order over 20. So if you're considering ordering one this year...please do! Orders must be submitted within the next week.

3. Team WimpyCARES has created a new private facebook group for those who ride with our team. This group will be posting updates specific to the team as well as important riding information. You all should be getting an invite for this page shortly, but let us know if you don't receive one and we'll make sure to add you!

4. Keep an eye on your email, we will be sending out weekly newsletters with information such as overnight host locations, maps, etc.

Do check out shopcaryboutique.com, and shop there when we get to LeMars, IA. It's an awesome shop that specializes in Women's and Children Clothing.

We will have laminated maps for the entire week for everyone on our team.
