The John Soley Story Soley Inc. is dedicated to providing safety education to oil companies and various other industries.

The John Soley Story is an inspiring tale of a young man who came up against great odds on an oil rig in the middle of the Gulf of Mexico. At that time, safety was important, but the tools to teach proper safety skills did not exist. Despite the odds that John faced after his accident, he made great leaps to recover and is more than active today. John’s story teaches that by following simple saf

ety guidelines, a person can avoid a lifetime of pain or worse. An emotional tale, John still travels to share his experience to groups all over the world in hope to promote the value of safety.

Today was a good day. I was asked to tell my story to over 300 people with Acadiana Contractors in Lafayette, Louisiana. Telling The John Soley Story makes me feel good when I was able to change at least one person's life today. Like I always say, "It's all good, people!"

I would like to thank my wonderful daughter for the post today on my page about my 13 years after my accident! Thanks for the help and support of my wonderful family. They sure did make my recovery a lot better than was expected. To all my family and friends, thank you for making me feel loved! I also thank the Good Lord for giving me the strength to not give upon my battle to recovery! Have wonderful day, and remember its all good people!

It's all good, people! Today is my 13th re-birthday. On August 27, 2001, my life changed. I want to thank everyone over the years for all your love and support. Can't wait to celebrate with my family tonight at my favorite restaurant. What a great day to be alive.
