July 2024....Floyd is determined to get the wharf back in shape. With help from his son Randy, the job of recovering some of the main parts begins to happen. It has taken quite a few hours to get the 8x8 stringers back and into alignment using levers and ropes. Some townspeople are taking notice and a drive has been started to solicit donations to help with the cost. Floyd's little ships are very popular and many people have said it's one of the best tourist attractions in Lockeport.
HIs guest book has signatures from people of countries all around the world. He was given a proclamation citation from the Nova Scotia government for his effort.

Update on Floyd's wharf....it was severely damaged by hurricane Lee. Most of the wharf was in shreds and at age 90 Floyd was not in a position to rebuild it. It was heartbreaking to realize his small ships may never sail again.
