Economic growth and narrative change around issues of equality are at the core of its practice. The firm is led by Brian Tate, a culture creator and marketing strategist with unique experience in helping clients become more competitive w

hile making a bigger difference in the world. He is also an expert at creating major projects that examine complex social issues through a lens of arts and culture. Clients have included The Brooklyn Museum, Brooklyn Tourism, Creative Capital, Fractured Atlas, the Guggenheim Museum, the Jamaica Center BID, the New York City Economic Development Corporation, Northside Media, Queens Council on the Arts, the Romare Bearden Foundation, the Rush Philanthropic Arts Foundation, Symphony Space, Theatre Development Fund, and WNYC Radio, among others. Tate has created singular marketing strategies for Broadway, Brooklyn, Queens, Washington, DC, and numerous organizations. A skilled negotiator, he has raised millions in cash and media through deals with AT&T, Bloomberg, Coca-Cola, Deutsche Bank, NBC4, Target, Visa, and others. He is the creator of major festivals that unite audiences across traditional divides of race, gender, age, and income. His projects include Dark Wonderland, a nighttime performing arts festival held at Green-Wood Cemetery; Curate NYC, a citywide visual art exhibition that exposed scores of local artists to curators around the world; and the Taste of DC Festival, which drew 1 million people per year. He is the former executive director of the DC Committee to Promote Washington, a nonprofit group that marketed the Nation's Capital around the world and generated $93M per year in visitor revenues. He is also the former executive director of MAPP International Productions, a nonprofit producer of major performing arts projects that spark social change.
