The LEADER Funding application to refurbish the Old Gilson School is moving ahead and a list of work to be carried out has been drawn up. The next step in the process is to develop an Action Plan for the proposed Laurence Gilson Centre. It is vital that the community of Oldcastle can show how the building will be used in future and what plans are in place to ensure it will be sustainable into the future.

Some of the ideas put forward so far are listed in the photo below but this needs as broad a range of ideas and suggestions as possible. Please PM the page if you have an idea or would like to get involved in one of the most important community development projects in Oldcastle so far this Century!
