October 2017. ROAD TRIP. We took our annual roadtrip 3 weeks on the road from The Villages to Macon, Atlanta, Chattanooga, Nashville, Knoxville, Asheville, Charlotte, Savannah and home.

June 2017. Back to back River cruises Bucharest to Budapest. a few nights in Prague and then on to Berlin. Ending mid-July. End of July roadtrip with grandson to NC to see his cousins.

May 2017. The big Rotary cruise is here! And VPK Graduation!

March 2017. Spent time on a short cruise on the Enchantment of the Seas setting up for the big Rotary cruise in May. Went to NC to visit our granddaughters in April. Visited Quantum of the Seas during its stop in Port Canaveral.Visited a local Apiary (Bees) with some fellow Rotarians!

January 2017. Just got home from a 2 week cruisetour in Europe and spent January and February with our grandsons in Orlando. Also had a booth at the Rotary Chili Cookoff and Home and Garden Show.

Just got back from an amazing District Conference with Rotary District 7020.

In July we went on our first Viking adventure on the new ocean cruiser, Viking Star, from Stockholm to Bergen. It was an amazing ship and they did a great job translating the river cruise experience to ab ocean cruise.

In February of 2015, Penny and I took her mom on the Carnival Sunshine for 8 days. We visited San Juan, Turk & Caicos, St Thomas, St Maarten and time at sea. It was a great trip!

In January of 2015, we took a trip to Israel for a Bar Mitzvah. Spent 3 absolutely amazing weeks. Climbed Tel Gezer, and visited Ayalon Institute where the Hagannah made bullets under the noses of the British, Also visited Chaim Weizmann Library, first president of the State of Israel.

December 2014, ROAD TRIP! We took a ride round trip from Florida to Las Vegas. We stopped in Biloxi and saw the home of Jefferson Davis, San Antonio (the Alamo), Albuquerque (nuclear science museum), Vegas (what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas), Sedona (amazing landscapes), Roswell (UFO's), Austin (LBJ Library, Lockhart BBQ), Houston (space center and food challenge), Mobile (seafood on the bay) and home. We even were standing on a corner in Winslow, Arizona!

In November, we met up with the entire family for Thanksgiving in Charleston, SC. We stayed at a Residence Inn, and cooked our turkey dinner which all enjoyed! Of course. we did some fun sightseeing there!

In September 2014, we had a seminar at sea on the Carnival Conquest. We had a great time in every port. In Rhoatan, we visited an iguana conservancy! In Belize, we visited ancient Matan ruins. In Cozumel, we went swimming in chankanaab park. It was a wonderful week!

After our transatlantic trip in Apr/May 2014, we took a couple of trips to visit our newest granddaughter and our older granddaughter in North Carolina! 3 very nice road trips :-)

On April 19, 2014, we drove to Fort Lauderdale to sail on the magnificent Celebrity Silhouette on a Transatlantic journey ending in Rome! I previously posted some pictures from this trip which took us to Madeira, Gibraltar and all over Italy. At the end of the trip, we spent a few more days walking all over Rome. I will share some of the past postings with the pictures. We returned home on May 9, 2014.

Travel is our Passion! Over the next few weeks, I will describe what we have been doing since Feb 1, 2014. To start it all, I went to Penny's office on January 31, 2014 and escorted her out of the workplace for the last time! The first thing we did was visit our son, daughter-in-law and our granddaughter in NC. We took a nice leisurely drive and spent a few days visiting. This has now become a regular event :-)

On to Sardinia! We visited Cagliari. Took a 5 hour walking tour of the city. Visited a statue of St Francis of Assisi, a castle which was turned into a museum, a cathedral and the downtown equivalent of 5th Avenue. Only problem was there were 10 tour groups and only two bathrooms!
