Here is one of the 3 scorpions that made an appearance on our dig sites. He managed to make it to freedom. ....with my encouragement.
The hunt for Apache tears.
Today we set out to Superior, Az to locate the dig sites listed in the rockhounding book, Gemtrails of Arizona.
This is out first dig for these volcanic obsidian nodules known as Apache Tears. The locale has large deposits of perlite. Also a type of volcanic glass but whitish to grey and brittle. Hopefully we will find the Apache tears in this glass as mentioned in the book.
