Tomorrow would have been George Harrison's 80th Birthday. He was a long time follower of Hare Krishna and a vegetarian 🕉
This got me thinking about some of the amazing food from the Indian Sub-continent. Beautifully spiced and full of nutritious vegetables, beans and pulses. Heaven on a plate maybe?💚🌱

Did you know today is Random Acts of Kindness day?
I thought I would share a couple of things that have cropped up in Liverpool in the past.
Locals may have seen the little hand written messages that appear in restaurants and shops, they always put a smile on my face. The "Todays Message" was very welcome the first time I saw it. I was feeling nervous that day about taking a very large corporate group on a Beatroute Tour, it felt very personal, as though it had been written for me! 😊
The packet of Love Hearts was in a quiet seated area of one of Liverpool's many beautiful parks and I hope it bought cheer to somebody.
All of these things are cheap to do but can make a huge difference to someone's day, as can a simple smile of hello. We shouldn't need a named day to remind us to be kind.

I have to pinch myself every time I look at this picture - if you have ever been down by the river front in Liverpool I'm sure you'll understand. It is rarely this calm! 😁
No matter what the weather tho, you're sure to have a good time at Royal Albert Dock Liverpool. There are plenty of restaurants, bars, shops, museums and Tate Liverpool to keep you entertained. Plus this weekend they have The Fiesta of Fire, both afternoons 3-6PM which looks like it's going to be a fantastic show of free fire performances! 🔥👀🔥

Have you tried the cheeses from Honestly Tasty? I tried them for the first time at VegfestUK in London last year and was blown away with the authentic taste! 😮😍
Imagine how happy I was to see their Shamembert at Down The Hatch? Served baked with plenty of bits to dip, if you miss cheese don't miss out on this! 😍💚🌱
