Our commitment to sustainable tourism isn't just a statement – it's a way of life. From eco-friendly practices on our tours to supporting local initiatives that protect the natural environment, like THE VEDA we're dedicated to minimizing our ecological footprint while maximizing the positive impact on San Blas Islands and its communities.
This helps maintain biodiversity and preserves the delicate balance of marine life.The Veda signifies a time where the capture of certain animals are prohibited, including species like lobsters, octopus, and Kambombia. No-take lobster season, from March 1st to May 31st , that is the time needed for the spiny lobster females to lay their eggs and ensure the next generation. We, as visitors in this autonomous region of Panama must always respect the local laws.
