Aberdeen Young Walkers is a new and up and coming group based in the Aberdeen Area. As well as walking activities we are looking to do a lot more!

12 of us and 2 dogs on today's walk - up to burn o'vat, then around Loch Kinord. We were very lucky with the weather (even if Omar is still wearing his hat!). Followed by coffee in aboyne. Looking forward to seeing some of you at tonight's social!

AYW had a fantastic weekend away in Pitlochry this weekend, joined by some of our friends from TYW. Saturday was great weather, although still a little cold, as we summited Geal Chàrn and A' Mharconaich. These were munros 1 and 2 for one of our group, and he says he's ready for more! Sunday was damper, but the weather couldn't get us down, and we had a great low level walk round Linn of Tummel.

A wonderful hike last Sunday to Mortlich in Aboyne. Our walk leader Omar has yet again proved to be a fantastic guide and returned with many smiling faces! 😁
