Vestiges of Salem Spend time on Salem's shoreline or planting in your garden and quickly you will unearth "Vestiges of Salem": pottery, old bottles, buttons and more!

I moved to Salem in 2003 and have been fascinated with the amount of history I can find in a simple stroll on the shoreline. I launched a jewelry business called "Resurrected Vestiges" in Salem in 2004 making jewelry with the pottery shards I was finding. After having my first child, the jewelry business was disolved, but my love of hunting never ceased! I figured it was time to share some of the

treasures I have found over the years and wanted to invite others to do the same. This page is for folks who have found old pieces of Salem on the beach or in their garden to share their finds! The only rules are:

1. The item must be found IN Salem, Massachusetts.
2. You must play nice! No foul language, etc. or you will be asked to leave. Let's have fun!
