We set about to see how we could bring more love, kindness and connection to our immediate communities and ultimately inspire that same connection on a global scale! The film discusses a study that was conducted involving a community of Red Deer. Now…we are not scientists, so I will try and explain it by telling you how the results of this study inspired us. The study showed, that prior to making
any big “herd” decisions, the Alpha Buck would look to his herd to direction; for instance deciding upon which watering hole to travel too, where to travel for “greener pastures” etc. Through posturing, glances, snorts etc. the herd would communicate with one another, and the herd would stay put until a consensus of 51 % was made to make a move in one direction. The Red Deer communicated with one another and moved together for the best interest of group survival. We feel there is something so simple in that spirit of looking out for everyone’s welfare, and that it is a worthy goal for all of us human beings. Thus Red Deer 51 was born. LOVE IS FOR EVERYONE…
Next we set about creating the perfect tag line. After several months of exploration the youngest member of our family did it. Selah had been writing poetry (She is such a creative little human) and sharing it with everyone in the family. As we were entering production of our first products, Selah just completed another poem, the last line of which was “Love is for everyone”. Alexis had seen that line before, and upon looking at more of Selah’s poems this one line continued throughout the majority of her writings. The simple and true sentence,
“Love is for Everyone”. Thank you Selah!
