Finished off the summer season guiding for Adventurous Ewe on the mighty Yr Wyddfa/Snowdon. Katie Piper and her amazing team of fundraisers tackled some chilly conditions to conquer Wales’ highest peak. Another humbling and inspiring day in the mountains. Well done all 💪

It's been 10 years since I visited South America with Dragoman and ran my first tour. Even now, my chubby little face still features on the website! I was scheduled to return in 2020 but a global pandemic got in the way. So I think it's about time I went back!
At the end of this year Nick and I are getting back on the road for Dragoman and we're visiting one of our favourite places.....Patagonia. We're running a two month trip from Santiago to Rio via the southern most city in the world and landing in Rio right in time for the biggest party on the planet! It's gonna be a good one!
Can't wait to get back over there for some epic hikes and hopefully get some updated photos for the marketing team ;) Who's in?!

It was incredibly windy up on the hills this weekend guiding for City Mountaineering but my group smashed out the hikes with ease! The quiet route up Yr Wyddfa/Snowdon followed by an even quieter loop of Cnicht.

A few snaps celebrating an incredible achievement by Rob on Saturday. With help from his off-road wheelchair and supportive team of friends, family and carers, Rob was able to make it to the top of Picws Du in the western Brecon Beacons.

Scouting this route for Rob made me realize just how inaccessible our mountainous areas are in this country. Styles and kissing gates are present at the base of most mountains and these are simply not possible in a wheelchair. With previous summits of Yr Wyddfa/Snowdon and Pen y Fan under his belt, Rob has shown that beyond these access issues getting to the top of a mountain is very much possible and wants to show others that it can be done.

This route provided its own accessibility challenges but thankfully Rob and his team were up to the task. The weather Gods smiled on us to make it a truly memorable and inspiring day in the mountains.
