🎉 £50 per car (max 9 people)
⚡ Day of the week: every day
📖 Program:
The tour will start at 20.00. A comfortable car with a guide who speaks excellent Russian will pick you up. Along the way, the guide will tell you the history of the city and a few tales to boot :)
The first stop is Soho square. Perhaps this is the most Europeanized place in Sharm. Soho Square was created for an evening promenade, which is what we will do. There are many nice locations for beautiful photographs (sculptures, beautiful lighting, etc.), a European warehouse of cafes, and a color and musical fountain. The shops here are also distinguished by high (and unobtrusive, which is not found everywhere in Sharm) service. Here
Sellers do not “harass” you, inviting you into their shops, but the prices are higher than in the Old Town, where we will go later. We will walk around the square for about 1 hour.
Stop near Hollywood Park. This is a small Disneyland. It's worth taking a walk here with children. If you want to go inside and walk around the park, it will be for an additional fee ($7), if you don’t want to, we will take a photo in front of the park and move on. The maximum stop time is 30-45 minutes.
A short (about 10 minutes) photo stop at Peace Square. Here you can take a photo against the backdrop of a rather unusual monument located in the middle of the square. In the evening, the monument and the surrounding fountain are beautifully illuminated, which provides wonderful photographs with this place in the background.
The Ali Mustafa Mosque, which amazes the viewer with its beauty and scale. Before the construction of the El Sahaba Mosque, which opened at the end of 2016, Ali Mustafa was the largest mosque in Sharm, but even now its beauty has not faded. Here the guide will tell you a little about Islam in general and the peculiarities of Islam in Egypt. Unfortunately, we will not be able to go inside, but we will be able to take a photo of the mosque from the outside. In the evening the mosque is beautifully illuminated.
In Egypt, two world religions coexist – Islam and Christianity. About 10% of Egyptians are Christians. As a rule, these are Copts - representatives of one of the branches of Orthodoxy. We will visit the Orthodox (Coptic) church. Here, something will be familiar to you, and something will surprise you (there are quite a lot of differences both in the architecture of churches and in worship). If you wish, we can go inside, look at the service and take a photo (this is not prohibited here). Our guide will tell you about the features of the Christian religion in Egypt.
Next we will visit the Old Town area, or Old Market. This is the oldest, most famous and cheapest market in Sharm. In the shops and stalls of the Old Market you can fully experience the authentic flavor of an oriental bazaar. Here you need to be sure to vigorously bargain with the sellers (if you absolutely do not like to bargain, our guide will help you, but we wholeheartedly recommend you try, because this is also part of the impressions of Eastern culture). In the center of the Old Market there is a concert area where you can see shows of oriental dances or snake charmers. Recently a new mosque was opened here - El Sahaba, today it is the largest mosque in the city. The mosque is very beautiful and illuminated very beautifully. The total walking time is 1 hour. Loaded with impressions of communication with oriental flavor, pleasant purchases and beautiful photos, we move on.
The next stop is the 1001 nights shopping center, made in the style of the palace of the eastern ruler, located in the Hadaba area. Every evening a beautiful performance takes place here, which we invite you to visit during the “1001 Nights Show” excursion. Now we’ll just walk around the territory, enjoy the atmosphere of an oriental fairy tale and take beautiful photos. Hadaba is one of the oldest and most densely populated areas of Sharm; there are not only hotels, but also residential areas.
Another attraction of Hadaba is the monument to the victims of the Boeing 737 plane crash. A very beautiful monument dedicated to a sad event, framed in beautiful lighting in the evening. Here our tour ends and we return back to the hotel.
Return to the hotel around 12 midnight.
